This is my favorite resin mold! I cannot stop making these dragon eggs. I have made 6 so far and can't wait to make more! I was worried I would have lid issues like some other reviews, but luckily I did not have this problem. The mold appears sturdy and of good quality so hopefully this means it will last a long time.

I have an obsession for dragons. I love how this comes out every time. A little difficult around the tail to release. Definitely release after 24 hours so the resin is still bendable to get the tail out. Mold is holding up through multiple uses.

All in all, I love the mold, but it takes a lot of epoxy to fill it. It has some nice detail in the finished product. There are some aspects. I don't like the like the fact that the lid part of the mold is a solid lid and it's really heavy. It takes quite a bit of epoxy... It's not the easiest of molds to demold on the bottom part.There's a bit of a wrestling match... but if you're used to epoxy resin, you already know that some molds are gonna be like that... i wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a beginner.. and as for the lid part of the mold, I just take my drumel and hollow out part of it.
