  • Very fun for early readers!
The Crabby series by Scholastic follows a nice, easy format that’s great for early readers. It’s set up in a graphic style, with most of the words being dialog or sound effects. My young readers thought that grouchy Crabby and his buddy Plankton are really funny, encouraging them to keep going.

We love this book! We have Let’s Play Crabby, Wake Up Crabby, and Hello Crabby and all three are great books. All of them are funny.

  • Fun book
My 6 yo boy likes humor and this book is at his level, so we enjoyed reading it over and over again. Personally, I like the educational side of it, used the book to teach my kid about unwanted behaviour in others. It's a great tool from this point of view. Only con would be that it is somewhat simplistic and only lasted for so many re-reads... But we will probably bring it back out once he reads on his own. ... show more
