I love Go Fish and used it with my own kids when they were little ..now I use it in my sessions with my young clients and is a hit! Is enough challenging to entertain the little ones as I interview their parents! Is also a great toy to develop fine motor skills (eye and hand coordination skills) and a great toy to teach little ones to “share…and to take turns!) :) I highly recommended it for your own kids or as a great birthday gift! I used to have this game when I was a kid in the 90s and was looking for a travel game to take on vacation with us. This popped up in the search and I had to get it. For less than $9, it's a bargain. You will need a C battery that is not included. Once all the fish are loaded, you each take a fishing pole and turn the switch on the game. That starts the fish moving and opening and closing their mouths. Be the one who collects the most fish and you win. The motor is kinda loud, but that was to be expected. The game is so fun for the adults, 4 year old and 10 year old. It's actually harder than it looks to hook the fish, so we discovered that you kinda hover the pole end over the mouth and when it opens the mouth, put the pole in and wait til it closes its mouth before you pull it up. You can use this for color recognition and counting as well since you have to count how many fish each person ends up with. My only complaint is the fishing poles are way cheaper and thinner than I remember. You have to be really careful with those or they'll snap. ... show more
