If you are into RC cars than you probably already know that every RC you tuber on the planet has been talking about WLToys cars for years. All you have to do is type wltoys and dozens of videos will pop up. They have gotten more expensive since they have gotten so much attention, but they are still a great bang for your buck RC car company. They are entry level RC cars with good parts availability and are extremely durable for the cost. I say good availability by mail, you won't be walking into your local hobby shop and grabbing any, but they aren't the 6 week wait out of china anymore. As for the durability part. I say that while stressing the "for the cost part". I wouldn't expect to launch it 20 foot in the air off a skate ramp, the way I can my X-maxx, and it drive away. I have two WLtoys buggies this one and the purple 124019. The 12409 is the car that really got the RC worlds attention, but it is a brushed motor and metal chassis car. This is an updated plastic tub style chassis with a 3S capable brushless power system. WLToys has also upgraded the axles in this model and they are very thick compared to previous models. I have been running this car off and own for several months now and have yet to break any parts, even launching it off BMX launch ramps on blacktop. The only issue I have had is the cooling fan on the ESC quit. I don't believe it was due to a manufacturing issue, but several hard impacts off the ramp. Do I think it is going to hold up as well as my Arrma, Axial, HPI, or Traxxas cars, doubtful, but so far they have been great. Besides if you are really into RC they won't stay the way they came out of the box anyway. I've seen the metal chassis car upgraded to brushless and hit over 100 mph. it is an extremely good platform if you are into customizing RC cars. ... show more

As fast as advertised, stable, strong, flickable. There is one problem though, Nothing keeps the battery in place and it will break the steering column even under hard breaking. I suggest you glue a wedge that will keep it from bumping. Chinese parts will take over 30 days to get here. Update: 6/12/13 Ordered 2nd car, glued wedge, at some point it broke off and the steering column along with it. I’ll keep it and wait on the chinese parts then figure a way to hold battery in place. bad design flaw Buyer beware ... show more

Although it came in good shape, I only picked this one because it said it had an upgraded 65amp esc. No it doesn’t. Like why lie, it’s all stock. 5 stars for speed of delivery 5 stars for shape of vehicle 1 star for the lying 5 stars for the packaging Over all rating 3 stars because of this reason

Despues de 5 ciclos de bateria simplemente la copa trasera se deshizo, ahora no puede rodar mas, me dieron la opción de recibir uno nuevo pero para que? Se repetiria la historia, por otro lado el tipo de bateria con el que viene se desliza y se estrella contra el brazo del servo de dirección, tengan cuidado con eso, no querran una lipo perforada. ... show more
