These pens are so good! I haven't experienced any leaking or drying out. I rinse out the bristles after each use and make sure to keep the cap on. I just wish they held a little more paint, but that's just because the rental I'm in needs so much help...no fault of the pens!

These are easy to use and work nicely for touching up paint quickly without having to get out the entire paint gallon. It's easy to fill with paint and easy to use for smaller marks, scratches, or chips. They are super handy to have around the house and are very useful and effective!

I've used store-bough paint pens for years, and always found they did not work to EXACTLY match -- yeah, they came close, but sometimes "close" is not "close enough". With this system, it is not just "close", or "close enough" -- it is EXACT, because you use the same paint for touch up that you used originally! Without the syringe, it would still be a good system, but would be EXTREMELY messy. WITH the syringe, it's a great system! I used it with a yellow paint in my kitchen, where a broom handle bumped into the wall and left it marred (unfortunately, I forgot to take before & after pictures!). I mixed the gallon of original paint, popped it open, and used the syringe to withdraw just a few drops (less than a teaspoon) of paint, and "injected" it into the brush. A few pumps to "prime" the brush, and I was able to repaint the spot that needed touching up. When done, I washed out all the equipment completely. I suppose I could have kept the brush filled with the paint, but I didn't. End result: I "wasted" a lot less paint overall than I would have had I used a regular paintbrush, made a whole lot less of a mess, and got an exact match on the wall, such that I can't even tell that it was ever marred. For me, that result was worth getting these "Paint Pens", even if I never use them again. But of course, they will get used a lot more times, and I may even try keeping the paint in the brush the next time instead of doing a complete clean-up. Bottom Line: HIGHLY Recommended. Deserves much more than just 5 stars -- I wish I'd gotten these years ago!
