This is the first Leo Jaymz guitar that I bought. I own several name-brand guitars, but I wanted to try this one just because of the way it looked, and it was purple. I am very happy with the frets and fretboard. The only electric guitar I’ve bought with better fret work is my $500 ESP. I don’t have to do anything to the frets. The action is set almost where I want it. I’ve played it for two hours and the only problem I’ve had is the tuning. But I will replace the strings and lower the action just a hair. But actually all I had to do is just tune it up and play. Pick ups sound pretty good for a guitar of this price. The effects work pretty well. The finish is excellent and all the joints fit tight. Nothing was loose on the guitar. When I peeled off the protective cover on the pic guard it had a few small scratches, but they won’t be noticed once I play it more and scratch it myself. The neck is not too thick and not too thin. I prefer thin necks like I have on my Jackson guitars, but this one’s not bad at all. The gloss finish on the fret board makes it easy to play. It’s hard to believe they got all this in one guitar for $229. I have two other offbrand guitars and they don’t come anywhere close to matching this one and I paid about the same price for both of them. I don’t think you can beat it for the price and quality. And if you like purple, this is a nice metallic purple. That’s one of the main reasons I bought it because I don’t have a purple guitar in my collection ,till now. The main thing is it’s fun to play and sounds good. i’ve been playing 66 years and the guitar is what keeps me going. Rock on. By the way, it comes with a gig bag. The description does not say that and I almost bought a bag when I bought the guitar. But I saw a review on this guitar and it came in a case. So I was hoping I would get one and I did. The bag has sides and decent padding. A little update. I’ve had this guitar for four days now and I cannot put it down. I adjusted the action and put on new strings and it plays like a dream. It’s my favorite playing guitar at the moment.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this guitar. Not perfect, but for 239.00 it's good. Playable right out of the box. Setup was good. Frets are nice. Balled ends. Polished pretty good. The electronics work pretty good. This sofar is the best value guitar I have purchased, and I've bought a few. I would recommend this guitar. Not perfect but very nice for the money.

Great quality but the plastic nut is a bummer!

I've bought this guitar twice now and both guitars were defective and needed to be returned. The on-board electronics didn't work on the first one and the second arrived with substantial cracks in the neck heel. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Amazing quality out of the box for the price. Yes, it is a bit gimmicky with the built-in effects, but I've caught myself more than once sitting on the sofa in front of the TV with this plugged into my vintage Pignose amp having a bit of fun with the delays and such. I went with the silver finish, as the laser striped, black one that I saw reviewed on "Scar My Guitar" on UTube was a bit much for me.

Beautiful! Perfect finish. Everything works great. Requires 2AA batteries. Intonation is perfect. I’m going to shim the neck slightly and put a lighter gauge string set on it bit yhats just my own preference. Biy one!
