Excellent starter guitar kit! As far as cheap guitars go, this had very little of the issues that you usually see in cheap guitars. When I set it up I lowered the action very slightly, and moved only 2 saddles to get the intonations right on. The fret ends were pretty smooth so I didn't have to do any fret work on the ends, but I did end up leveling 1-2 frets (they weren't too far off though they just needed some love). The tuners are just fine if you string it right, it stays in tune. It was wired properly humbuckers cancel noise as they should, no grounding issues. The nut was cut fairly well maybe 1 notch could be slightly wider but overall what a great guitar! It's right on par with anything out there in the $200-$300 range. This is going to be a fantastic Christmas present for my nephew. This is my second Leo Jayms guitar, I also got a purple telecaster that was equally awesome!

I LOVE THIS I LOVE IT I LOVW IT I LOVE IT DUDE IT IS SO GOOD QUALITY AND CAME LOOKING NEW it’s just the plastic thingy protect cover is kind of just peeling off and I accidentally knocked my eye bc it is hard the strings get loose when u tune them but so far I love it but the amp is rllllyyyy realllyyyy tiny it’s the size of my hand and the amp doesn’t have much options and im a beginner and its so beautiful and i would recommend but only if u dont mind the strings getting loose or cover coming off and amp being really small but the guitar is really huge and pretty heavy the amp is small but is really loud

Guitar arrived double boxed with no damage. Finish is very good no blems or scratches, the neck is straight and smooth the fret board is also very good. I tuned it and played it right out of the box, 5 way switch and volume/tone controls work fine. Tuners and pickups are also good. I changed the strings and adjusted the tremolo claw/springs to my liking. There were a few fret ends that needed to be filed but not a big deal. I may do a little more setup as I play it more. The gig bag is really nice other accessories are good for beginners. Good guitar for both experienced players and beginners.

Got this guitar for my niece to start practicing and is not bad, but not great either given the material. Only issues I would say is the locking tuners are not that great when keeping in tune but for the overall price can be overlooked and just adjust tuning after playing that I noticed as I did a clean setup out the box to prep it for her. Pick-ups are decent on cleans but get a bit muddy with some gain but again price makes it tolerable and for a child its irrelevant. I would recommend oiling the fretboard as it is dry out the box given that it is a fresh build and is no problem at all. My go to is the Music Nomad F-One Lemon Oil I use on all my guitars. I would also advise restringing the guitar with the fresh set that comes in the baggy over the ones pre-stringed to get as much clarity and tone as possible for that new guitar sound. For my niece I threw on an Ernie Ball Extra Slinky 8-38 Gauge set given her small hands and wanted to make it as forgiving as possible for her to play and she can gradually go up gauges till she is at a 9-10 standard set comfortably to prevent pre-burns as her calluses develop. Not a fan of the truss rod nut as its very thin and flaking off but eh not an issue as it is a burner for her to practice on till she gets better. Guitar is lightweight and action is decent for its height from the fretboard to the pickups. I did slightly raise the bridge pick up a few mm but that's a preference and just optional. Finish wasn't too bad and the bag it came in is durable but could use a bit of padding. On to the amp; Cleans are decent for its size and value and I would just start at No-Gain/3'oclock-Tone/12o'clock-Vol and adjust as needed for your preference in tone but don't expect too much. Distortion is not an option as its muddy all around but does give enough for some crunch. Tested amp with my PRS and can confirm it's just the hardware of the amp and not the overall guitar even with the factory pickups it came with being generic. Overall, it's not bad for its value and great for starting out until you either get a better guitar or choose to modify this one to make it worth something. I am giving it 3stars for its value figuratively only but 4stars for the whole bundle. 5stars would be if the tuners were a better quality and truss nut as it may be an issue for some with little to no knowledge and may think there is an issue with their guitar sounding off but it's just getting out of tune (Download the PanoTuner App). Also if electronics on it were also upgraded as well but for first time learners you would not be able to tell but for someone experienced it is noticeable even when plugged into a one of my Marshal Amps. No issues with the purchase and can say go for it if you don't already own a guitar or want as a burner to modify with better locking tuners, pickups, graphite nut and electrical pots with decent ohms to start.
