I had to get the first one replaced because the top was broken off upon arrival. It seemed to have been opened so I was reluctant to buy another one, but I did. The lights don’t show up during the day. It has to be pretty dark. The top lights don’t really get any light to them because the inner bulb is too far away. It’s expensive for these reasons. I purchased the green tree. It's beautiful, looks just like the pictures, and it lights up all the way to the top. However, the bottom which houses the light was completely broken off.
