This year has been the summer of the martini at our house, so I invested in these glasses because we sit in the dock outside and drink them in the evenings. Because we have to walk out there I didn’t want typical long stem glasses. These are perfect for that purpose. It’s also hot outside so the double walls make them even better. I got some steel picks for the olives and we feel so fancy! Received set of four unbroken, good packing from the manufacture. They work well to prevent condensation from forming on the exterior due to insinuative effect of double-wall design. Ice cubes last noticeable longer as a result of less heat infiltration. They are too light weight/unsubstantial feeling for my liking. Personal preference I guess. I should mention that there is (by design) a small glass plug in the bottom about 1/4" in which I assume is needed as part of the manufacturing process. See attached pic. If you're tired of holding/balancing long stem glasses for your 'cosmos', this is a game changer. Visually attractive and sufficient capacity. Dishwasher safe too! Suggest chilling in the frig (not freezer) if you have time!

    • Difficult to Hold, But Beautiful To Look At

I wanted to love these glasses SO much, but they are just way too hard to hold comfortably. The good things about the glasses are: 1) They came packaged well and though they are delicate, the packaging helped protect them; 2) They are very unique and interesting, and I'm sure a beverage would look great in the inner shape. We didn't try these glasses with a beverage, but we have other double-wall glasses and they really do keep the beverage cooler longer - I am sure these glasses would do the same. These are the reasons I purchased this set, but holding them is just not comfortable. The 'stem' is pretty thick, and with the triangular shape, there just isn't an easy way to pick these up and then hold them. So... unfortunately, had to return them. ... show more
