These actually work quite fantastic for the price I paid for them. Granted I have some dark red sheers under them that I have confirmed, even tho they're sheers, that it does make a noticeable difference that I have those there be if I didn't BUT these are still super duper awesome curtains and I would absolutely recommend and buy again when I get around to more of my windows. I got black but the color was great. Not faded or anything. They were super eat to install. The length was perfect. They really do an amazing job of blocking the light, even if my sheers are helping them out a bit.

3 pack blackout curtains. I was able to use one for my bedroom window and put the other one in the living room as I had purchased a different 2 pack blackout curtains from another seller and did not take the measurements so I was in need of another one. Soft material easy to install my hanging wall or ceiling curtain rack could not hold it so I just tacked it onto my wall and it holds fine. Cannot see through the curtains definitely blocks the summer heat waves we’re still experiencing. Looks great and long I had to fold it up so it doesn’t hang on the floor.

These curtains are okay, definitely not the thickest, but they do help block some heat and light. For the price, you really do get what you pay for. They’re not full blackout; some light still gets through, but it’s noticeably better than having nothing up. They work fine if you’re on a budget or just need a quick fix. Personally, I don’t think I’d repurchase them, and once I have a little extra to spend, I’ll upgrade to something heavier. But for now, they’re doing the job well enough.

To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. Those measures have proven successful: total 2021 electricity consumption in our single-family, detached home in the US SE was about 8,000 kWh (3,200 of which was for HVAC), compared to about 11,000 kWh annual average in previous years. [UPDATE on 1/1/23: our total electricity consumption in 2022 dropped even further to just 5,500 kWh (1,600 of which was for HVAC) for the year. We have HALVED our electricity consumption. Huge savings.] Much of our attention has been on our windows. In addition to improving energy efficiency, we have thought about privacy and, in certain rooms, blocking bright light (to allow for sleep by day, for photography and video production…). With all this in mind, we are very pleased with our LEMOMO Black Thermal Blackout Curtains. They’re thick, solid, soft to the touch, and – when installed from ceiling to floor – they do a superb job of blocking even the brightest sunshine. We left our existing curtains in place and installed the Lemomo curtains on top of them. This meant that we needed curtain braces that extend several inches away from the wall.
