These curtains are beautiful! Amazing value for the money! The fabric is soft and thick and the quality is definitely far better than the price point. They immediately blocked out the little bit of sun that was coming in and they aren't even fully closed. I will update the review once the sun comes back out tomorrow and I test them out, but honestly I wasn't looking too much for black out just something that was a good fit, good quality and would help keep temperature in the living room. Mom wanted blue curtains for her bedroom and I got her these. They are good quality and are nice and thick. They do good in the cold winter and keeps the light out enough to keep your room fairly dark to sleep in.

These curtains do a really good job in the summer reducing the heat in this room and a really good job in the winter warming up the room. The curtains are room filtering. They do not keep out 100% of the light even with window blinds. But I really like them in my Guest room.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Sooo much better!! Beautiful shade of purple! Came wrinkled but very easy to steam them out! No drapes and it truly blacks out the room! Not 100% but no less than 85%!!!

I bought the royal blue and the navy colors. Our house had curtains leftover by the previous owner that were able to be seen through. During the day they worked great, but at night with a light on you could see figures so we needed to up our privacy. These are a great length, and aren't see through. We put them up when it was high sun and we're instantly able to see a difference. Before we were able to see the road through our old curtains, and now we can not see through these new ones. They are made of a pretty durable fabric and feel great. The room definitely got dark so they are pretty blackout. The navy one you aren't able to see any light though, but the royal blue one you can se very very faint light if you are looking for it. They are both great colors and block light, I will be buying more in a different color for my livingroom. Highly recommend ... show more

I was hesitant at first when purchasing blackout cuetains because I have bought before and they always let heat and light in. I live in Florida where today is currently 105°f outside (40.56c) and my house was getting insanely hot and my electric bill was close to $500 last month. I needed to do something so I started looking around on Amazon for something that would help keep it cool but also match my house. I've lived in mostly modern, white & gray houses. This is my first rental home and it's very brown. I wanted to find something that could/would compliment that. I bought 3 of the Cappuccino color, as it's a light brown. It goes perfectly and is not too bold, which I absolutely love. I also bought one in beige, I'm adjusting to it, but I'm not a beige kind of girl. I like the blues, grays, and whites. I measured each window and slider door to make sure we had enough to cover the bottom but not have too much overhang that we'd trip and the length was absokutely fabulous. The fabric is super soft and lightweight that I was able to hang them on the tension rods I bought to accompany these blackout curtains. My AC hasn't been struggling as much in these last few days and even with full daylight being blasted at the beige and brown curtains, you can see it's keeping most of it out. It's also keeping the UV rays and heat out as well. I put a pair in my bedroom as well and I honestly havent slept as hard as I did last night in a very long time. 10/10 would recommend and would also buy again if the need ever rises. ... show more
