No more freezer burnt meat! The roll seems huge. Is of good quality paper. I didn’t buy the cutter with it because of the cost, but it would have made it easier to use. I used scissors and cut pieces which wasn’t difficult.

It's the second time I ordered this item, I used it for soapmaking and drafting sewing patterns and loved the performance. The first time it arrived in a neat box, made it easy to store and use out of. This time the box is gone, the roll is shrink-wrapped. I can't be sure if it wasn't true of the first one since I do not have it anymore, but the proportions of paper to core on this one are definitely not the same as pictured, which makes me suspicious of quality as well. We've used LEM freezer paper for years, but have always bought it directly from the LEM catalog. I just realized last week that I don't have enough left for this year's deer harvest, so I tried Amazon first. The price is equal to what LEM charges, and it came in two days with Prime shipping, so I ordered it. This paper is perfect for protecting meat in the freezer. It's coated with plastic and the paper is thick. The plastic coating keeps meat juices from leaking out before the meat freezes, and it keeps freezer burn off your meat. This big roll is enough to wrap several hundred pounds of meat, and freezer tape sticks to it perfectly. I use a Sharpie to label the meat after wrapping, so we don't have mystery packages in the freezer. I can't say enough about how great this paper is for protecting the expensive meat in your freezer! ... show more

The paper does indeed have a shiney coated side and a dull side like most decent freezer paper. It does NOT however come with a cutting edge. Its just a huge roll of paper that you will need to set up for yourself to roll off and cut. That is the only down side though affixing any sort of cutting edge on a box and roll that heavy would be difficult. ... show more

This was a good buy for me. I like using it. It's cuts easily and keeps the food nice and neat. You can right on the product what is inside and date it with ease. Yes, I would recommend this product if you do a lot of freezing.
