Great for Travel, Compact and Complete Functions
Great piano for begginers, i travel a lot for work and this keyboars allows me to practice wherever i go. i can take 2 3 or 4 sections deppending on how many space i have. I you travel or want to store it in a small space, this is great for you. I can connect it to my laptop or tablet to use it with MIDI aplications. It has Bluetooth connection, i can hear my lessons and the piano with my headphones. ... show more

Great for the price, but this keyboard is best for certain applications.
First, I notice that the keys are slightly less wide than on a standard piano or keyboard. On my piano and keyboard I measure an octave from C to C at just under 6.5 inches, whereas on the Lekato Portable it is 6.25 inches. It also doesn't have touch sensitivity. This means that I wouldn't want to use it for serious practice as a professional. I could probably get by with it at a gig, but I wouldn't prefer it. Because it's held together by magnets, it needs to be on a flat surface for the entire length of the keyboard, so an X or Z style keyboard stand won't work. It comes with a sustain pedal that appears to be 3.5mm, so standard keyboard sustain pedals aren't compatible either. That said, it is extremely portable with a clever design, and the box it comes in can serve as a makeshift case. This would be great for making music for/with friends as you could keep it on hand for impromptu jams. It would also be good for students who are studying ear training or something that isn't precise or technique-focused. There is a 3.5mm jack for headphones which silences the onboard speakers. I'm looking forward to using this as a portable writing tool. ... show more

Are you kidding me?
There's "practice pianos", there's "toys that play like pianos" and there's "whatever this is." Take a look at the video - when you press a white key, the ENTIRE KEYBED MOVES. This, friends, is not how keyboard instruments are supposed to work. If you want something as a tone reference, pull up an app on your tablet. If you want something for portable practice for music reference, get a rollup keyboard and save yourself the extra room. If you want something to practice keyboarding skills, wait until you get home. ... show more

Nice product
I think it's a great system and it is working well for me with being so portable and I love the sound and the key responses and being able to make it smaller and bigger

Unfinished. Next version might be great!
This can be described as a limited MIDI keyboard in 4 parts that connect with weak magnets. It has a removable music holder. It appears to have many features that could be unlocked with proper documentation. The pamphlet that comes with it mentions a mobile app (named "popiano") that doesn't seem to exist. When I asked about the app mentioned in the pamphlet they pointed to another app apparently from another manufacturer but I couldn't find that one either. The reason I say it's a limited keyboard is that it's not touch-sensitive: whether you press down hard or not each key produces the same volume. Another reason it's limited is that the Amazon listing claims "Features transpose, split, layer and metronome functions to expand practice and arranging options. Easy controls let both beginners and experienced players switch tones, tweak settings, and explore creative sounds with minimal fuss." Little of this is mentioned in the very limited short pamphlet. There are 2 glowing rainbow-lit bars that could be some kind of modulating or pitch bend system but I can't see how to use them. Pros: you can connect the 4 segments to provide up to 88 keys. It's light so good for travel. I like the music stand, although it's not good for more than a few sheets of paper. At $200 it's limited but may do the trick if you need a full-length portable keyboard. I use it on my desk. But so far most of the features they mention appear to be inaccessible. ... show more

Inexpensive full-size, full-featured synthesizer keyboard that fits in a carry-on bag.
Q: How do you get a 52 inch full-size synthesizer keyboard onto an airplane? A: Split it into 4 sections—and maybe leave some of them at home. Ingenious magnetic connection, lots of features. Three deficiencies in the description: 1) It runs on a rechargeable battery with a USB-C connector. That’s good, but they don’t tell you. 2) The included “carrying case” is not the leather or fabric bag pictured, but a reusable cardboard shipping box with a handle and foam forms to hold the keyboard sections safely in place. Bulky. 3) You can snap the music stand apart to use either side with one middle section. Or leave both snapped together if you have both middle sections. 4) Documentation claims it can work with 1, 2, 3, or 4 modules, always including the left side with controls and connection ports. Good for beginners, and for anyone who wants to continue practicing while traveling. ... show more

Great for the price
Excellent buy for the price. My only complaint is that it’s very sensitive. Just a slight touch on the keys will play the note; sometimes more than once so don’t linger too long!

Good travel keyboard.
Excellent travel keyboard. Great for cruising as you can make it smaller without smaller keys. Good sound. Matches well with a tuned guitar.
