I'm 54 years old and just had a total knee replacement due to RA. I have always been fashion over comfort or safety, so this style of shoe is out of my norm. But, let me just say while they are not the hottest or trendiest footwear, per say , they do the job perfectly! Easy on and off, adjustable for my swollen foot, and so comfy! My foot measures 7.5-8 in length, but I usually have to size up to a 9 to accommodate the extra width and volume. I bought these in a size 8, and these fit like a glove and are very comfortable. I call these Troll shoes because they are so ugly they're cute! These shoes are typically very comfortable. I am only giving this style/pair 3 stars because even though they are better looking than my other pairs, and even though the tag on the inside says size 39, similar to my others, they are almost an inch shorter. My toes hit the very end. They were still just ok, but I found after wearing them for a bit, my foot cramped very badly. Excellent Quality and Affordable Price! My second pair. I have baby bunions on both feet and hard to find wide shoes in my normal size 6-6.5. These give my bunions the space they need without looking like clown shoes at 8-8.5 . Feels so comfortable and love the adjustable Velcro straps too!! I’m not diabetic but these work great for walking and around the house comfort!! And have skid proof bottoms, another great benefit. The next sale I’ll buy a different color.
