Reasonably easy and quick to assemble. All holes and bolts lined up. Looks nice when assembled. No scratches or dings during transport. The shelves have a gap between the back and the sides which I don’t care for. Some of the veneer appears to be paper thin so be very careful not to bump or scratch it. It is top heavy so use the wall mounting hardware which is included. I was a little let down with regard to the material used in this bookcase but not shocked as it seems most every piece of furniture at this price point contains cheesy veneers and MDF. ... show more

This mission-style bookcase is of good value and quality. I couldn't find any assembly instructions, but there was a lot of packaging material, so I might have missed it. The assembly was simple, though. Eight screws and washers and the shelf support pegs were included. They also included hardware to secure the bookcase to the wall and two small screws to help secure the backing...but I didn't use them. The drawer portion was all preassembled, so that's a plus! It took about 30 minutes to assemble solo. I bought this to help organize my records and record player. It works well for this purpose, with room to expand my collection! :) ... show more

It took more time to unpack the box than it did to put it together. Okay, that was slightly exaggerated but it was quick and easy to assemble. Only eight machine screws required to assemble the bookcase!

These are amazingly constructed pieces of furniture. My only complaint was that this bookcase did not match the color of my Mission coffee table and end tables.
