I love this table. It is all wood and the drawer is a great addition. it's very sturdy. It fits perfectly between my recliner and my love seat. I had some difficulty putting it together. You can't do it by yourself. It takes two people to assemble.

This piece was perfect for the space that I needed to put it in and the attached lamp was definitely a plus. I couldn’t have asked for it to fit any better. It could be a little more sturdy but that probably would be hard to do as narrow as it is. It sits between two recliners so that’s not really a problem for me. ... show more

The table was easy to assemble and it is well made. It was heart breaking when we opened the shade and it was bent in many places. When the light is turned on the creases really show. I love the table but don’t want to spend $30 more on a new shade.

    • Good quality woodworking, however ....
Good quality woodworking. Lamp shade poorly made. Top of shade material not tight. Ribs flattened and bulging. Did not report it because the unit was already assembled when I discovered it. Faced the bad side towards the wall. Cant see most of it. Light pole mounting not as solid as I would like it to be. Due to the design of the hardware you cannot make it tight enough to keep the pole from turning when you want to adjust the position of the fixture arm. Have to hold the pole to keep it from twisting. The plate underneath that threads up against the bottom of the table top has two screw holes in it for set screws (I think) to keep it and the pole from twisting. One set of the instructions show allen screw set screws to thread in with an Allen wrench. The other instructions does not. No allen screws or wrench included. I ended up putting in wood screws in their place but the pole will still twist due to the threaded shaft that holds the pole and bracket components together. Even with these issues we decided to keep it. We don't adjust the horizontal arm that often. UPDATE: Cymax, the distributor to/for Amazon, read my review and contacted me by phone related to the lamp shade issue. They were very proactive in trying to rectify the problem by getting us a replacement shade. Again, we did not ask them to do it. We sent them a couple pictures of damaged shade and they arranged for the shade company (Leick Furniture?) to send us a new one. They were advising me of the status on nearly a daily basis. The new shade came precisely when they said it would. Great customer service. However, the replacement shade was in about the same shape as the original one. The nature of the irregularities on the shade look like a manufacturing defect and/or lack of quality control. It is not damage. They did hand pack a new one (I think) to us that basically had the same issues. Like the first shade we are goiing to use it and turn the bad side towards the wall. ... show more

    • This is okay, not exceptional for the price
Some of this end table with lamp is solid wood, but the side panels of the table top I got are plywood with a veneer that was somewhat delaminated on the ends. I had to apply wood glue and clamps to reattach the veneer, and the rough edge adjacent needed scratch cover to hide imperfection in the finish. The lap shade, that was crushed in and had to be replaced, was shipped within packaging that was intact, so the damage obviously resulted from some mishap at the point of manufacture or initial packaging. The drawer is loose within it's framework and roughly fitted. All in all, this is an unsatisfactory product by design and execution. Don't buy it online at full price above $180.00, the going price at some box stores for the same thing. ... show more
