  • Another great game in the Lego series!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Wii U Edition: Standard
This game is amazing. I was so excited to see there was another Lego video game and this one did not disappoint! Veteran Lego gamers will be happy to note at least two improvements in the game, which is in the usual Lego video game structure. Not only when making custom characters are you able to click on a feature icon and browse a labeled display of those pieces laid out in the style of the character selection (which is EXTREMELY helpful as the lighting and other issues often make it difficult to distinguish features), but the red brick extras stay on permanently! I don't know about anyone else, but I for one always forgot to turn them on until halfway through. X) There are also many other new features to the game, as it is a new game, including remakes of the previous Batman game characters. I have not even gotten close to figuring out everything in this game! :) There are a few drawbacks to this game though. For one thing, whenever a character with a theme song (Superman etc.) starts flying, their theme song plays. This is common to the Lego games, and personally I enjoy it. Wonder Woman never had a theme in previous games, but now they have given her a quite "oldies" theme which is not too bad altogether; however, it gets "stuck" if you will, and continues playing for a long time, overriding other characters' themes, and just pretty much getting annoying. It is not hard to get rid of, either don't be Wonder Woman, or turn off music in settings. I had this problem before in the Marvel Superheroes Lego game when jumping off the Helicarrier they would play loud falling music for a long long time after landing in the city. That was a little annoying too. Maybe it's just my console/game? Another drawback is the cars. I won't spoil where or how you drive, but personally I dislike the driving features of this game. Instead of continuing in the AMAZING car abilities of Chase McCain and Marvel, they have decreased in quality. Not only are the controls completely different, but the car moves in a dizzying and undesirable fashion and at an unnatural and unhelpful speed. I did not actually expect there to be much car driving in this game, for it is definitely more of a flying game; and thankfully driving is more of a bonus feature than a necessity (like in Chase McCain). Anyway, there are many pros and a few cons in this game, like in any game, and my complaints/compliments concerning this game may just be my personal opinion. However, I have never once regretted a Lego video game. I recommend them for ages 8+. They are the best games I have ever found, bought, and played, and I look forward eagerly to their next game. (Fingers crossed its another superhero game!) :D ... show more

  • The far best Lego games
Platform For Display: Nintendo Wii U Edition: Standard
I've seen my brother play this as a demo before. I ordered it and the delivery day said it will arrived on his birthday. But after 2 days of just ordering it. I arrived early which was great. All wrap and ready for him. Now I wanted to write this after a month of him, and couple of other siblings including myself playing it. This game it hands down the best Lego Batman Tt has ever made. My brother gets to know better all the justice league members, use them all throughout free play. And most importantly have fun. If your thinking of buying this for your kids or siblings; this game is definitely a child's play. ... show more

  • All I can say is that the new features keeps getting better and better
Platform For Display: Nintendo Wii U Edition: Standard
We owned all Lego games that came out for Wii and Wii-U., We bought Hobbit and Batman 3 right after Christmas. We are about 90 percent completed in Batman 3 and after Batman 3 we will play Hobbit (review for Hobbit will be later). All I can say is that the new features keeps getting better and better, now that we played Batman 3, I really wish that there will be a remake of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean etc. because after playing Batman 3 or even Marvel and Batman 2, it is kind of hard going back to the older version of Lego, however, I wouldn't mind going back and play the older Lego games but I don't think I would enjoyed it as I did back then when it first came out. We just love the talking version of Lego. Anyway, back to Batman 3, the only thing that I was disappointed in was in the World Hub, there was too many similar "attempt to get Gold bricks", Quest and "Characters". I do find Batman 3 a little too complicated for my 9 year old son or even me, we would once in awhile have to watch a video on you-tube to figure it out how to complete a level or even to find a characters and golds. I cannot wait for the next Lego game to come out, but I heard rumor that it was going to be Jurassic World?? I sure hope not, I would like to see Marvel 2 come out soon and of course man more after that. Until this day I still think that Pirates of the Caribbean was the most funniest Lego game ever, this is just my opinion. :) ... show more

  • This is a great game for all ages
Platform For Display: Nintendo Wii U Edition: Standard
This is a great game for all ages. I play it with my 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son. It's not just your basic shoot em up beat up the bad guy games but the storyline is full of puzzle like objectives which is nice, as it makes me and the kids have to look around the environment and figure out just how to put things together to move through the game. We've been a fan of the Lego games we've played but this one is by the far the funnest one yet. Instead of the same cookie cutter sequels a lot of game maker do, this one actually added a lot to make the game more fun to play. ... show more

me, my son and my daughter are enjoying this game very much. We have played pretty much every lego game and we found this a little more challenging which is good as my children are growing up. So we started playing lego games since they where 5 and 3 and now thay are 7 and 9 and they still enjoy them and we laugh so much with the mini movies. Also the minigames included r when you complete some challenge on the different levels resemble Tron. The graphics are much better now compared to wii games. ... show more

  • My Favorite Lego Batman game!!
Platform For Display: Nintendo Wii U Edition: Standard
I loved the original lego batman & was excited when 2 came out but disappointed by the limited storyline...LOVE LOVE LOVE Beyond Gotham. Awesome stories & levels, TONS of bonus levels & unlockable content, multiple worlds to explore (literally) and the jumping cows on the moon base are adorable. Infinitely replayable, and one of my favorite features has to be all the Adam Wests in Peril you can go around saving in the various levels/worlds. Plus each hub (the Legion of Doom, Hall of Justice, and Space Station) has its own mini-missions to complete & unlockable characters. Might even be the best game I own. (And I have a LOT.) ... show more
