Awesome. It does Deadpool justice for any fan. Especially for the price. Excellent value. Just a few notes: To get the most out of it, play with all of it or none of it. Use all five heroes, and one of the schemes. Mastermind doesn't really matter, but the ones it comes with fit the theme pretty well. The only exception I could think of is subbing in the core game Deadpool if you don't like one of the heroes. The half numbers, excessive violence and flavor all play together very well in my experience. I only have this and the X-men expansions, maybe there are many more heroes that fit the theme. Wound-KOing heroes would work with this set as well. Slapstick is as unnecessary in a Marvel game as he is in a Marvel comic. But that's just like...my opinion, man. My only (small) disappointment with this x-pack was this hero, both in flavor and mechanics. The only real reason I mention this is because I see it as a missed opportunity to really go nuts with the fourth wall thing and do an entire hero concept dedicated to that. It would have also been nice to see a new type of wound to throw in there - but, just a flavor mechanic I was hoping for. Hopefully they put out a Deadpool 2 x-pack. ... show more

This expansion is everything that a Deadpool fan could want. The cards feel and play as if you were in the Deadpool universe. The 1/2 power is a little odd, but isn't difficult to play with. Excessive Violence is a really cool mechanic in itself. The schemes. The schemes are really flavorful, and zaney in their own respect. The "Deadpool Makes a Scheme" card is very fun to play with as it doesn't scale the difficulty gradually but at random intervals up and down. I love this expansion so much. I'd buy another Deadpool themed expansion if they made one in a heartbeat. ... show more

This Legendary Deadpool set is a small box expansion. It includes characters from recent Deadpool storylines - the Mercs For Money, Macho Gomez, the other Deadpool characters and so on. But what makes this set fun is it captures the essence of Deadpool through humor and game mechanics - similar to Magic: The Gathering Unglued, the set plays around with the Fourth Wall, with cards that has certain effects on what time of day, where the player is seated, random flavor text, etc. If you're a serious Legendary player, you might find this tiring and pointless. But if you're a true Deadpool fan, this set captures the persona and flavor perfectly. ... show more

Solid characters with unique gameplay. The highlight of this expansion is the new Scheme cards. Some of them are quite hilarious and they are ALL challenging.

It's fun and I really enjoy Marvel Legendary. If you are a fan of Deadpool, stop ready and buy it. Otherwise, it contains fun cards and I enjoy the expansion. I recommend and hope you enjoy.

This expansion is absolutely hilarious. It adds a comedic element to a game that was already fun. The cards are not only useful, most of them have flavor text that adds true character to Legendary. The schemes are either incredibly difficult or incredibly easy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The cards can be a little underpowered, but pairing them with cards from previous expansions is perfect. ... show more

    • Good expansion
So... both my boys like this game (the younger one loves it). Both are fans of Deadpool (my younger one loves the guy). And so this was not something we were going to be able to skip. It is a wonderful use of the character with cool, off-beat cards and ideas presented. Well worth the money.
