This product is true to description. The product is made incredibly strong and sturdy. It arrived in superior condition and the quality is excellent!! It smells clean with no mold or strange odors. I was only trying to block a beloved straw hat. So, no previous experience with head forms for wigs or hats. No instructions accompanied the product. Nor did I find them readily available online. Not insurmountable, as it is fairly easy to assemble. Didn’t buy the tripod. So, slide piece with ball joint into the connector fitting so the ball rests in the cup with the screw threads and the tubular end sticks out the other side. Screw clamp into fitting. Push tubular end into head form. Clamp onto whatever. In my case, clamped to an ironing board. It was an inexpensive solution. Having hats professionally blocked is not cheap. Be sure to buy the appropriately sized form if you are purchasing for hat blocking. They come in a variety of sizes, which is helpful.

I love the stuff it came with and it’s a solid mannequin head… but I hate the shape of it. It doesn’t have the bump in the back of the head so it’s hard to get the whole wig to lay naturally

Now this was the best thing I've invested in and I do wigs. It was stable enough for me to pluck my wigs and flat iron them. It fit right on my desk and didn't take up much space. It was very easy to install.
