This is normal and the smoke is non-toxic and harmless. Avoid touching the surface during heating. When the electric stove is not in use, turn the switch to the 0 position and store it after the temperature has dissipated. Be aware to supervise closely at home when making soaps with kids.

love it
Size: SMK500-110V
It has good quality and ease of use. The electronic hot plate heated the glycerin soap base evenly, making the entire process smooth and efficient. The pouring pot and additional tools included in the kit were perfect for a beginner like me, and I loved experimenting with different scents and colors. Overall, it's a fantastic kit for anyone interested in soap making, whether you're a novice or an experienced crafter.

Electrical
Size: SMK500-110V
Went to use it and smelled like there was something electrical burning my family smelled it all the way upstairs. What a shame I was so looking forward to making soap. Not a good product safety for my family comes first.

fun set
Size: SMK500-110V
My kids and I had fun with this set. The scents were a little overwhelming for me when working with it, but not too bad in the soaps at least. It’s easy to use. It isn’t the best soap possible, but it’s safe and easy for kids to work with.
