These pants are pretty darn excellent! Here’s the size info to help you buy the correct size. Me- 5’7” long legs! 170# pictures are the size 16. I always wear L (long) pants. I was already wearing Lee brand jeans which stretched. I started with a 12L, but gained weight and was wearing a 16L until I found these. The previous Lee jeans had a waistband which came up to hip area. But sadly I faced medical problems and consoled myself with ice cream. The medical problems were caused by the surgeon who left me with a deformed foot. It is very hard to get enough exercise when you can’t really walk well let alone run, jog, skip rope or do any other stuff that would help. Ice cream + inactivity = fatness. Anyone who goes from a size 12 to a 16 has no business wearing jeans which don’t have enough fabric to make it up to the hip bones any longer. I’m sure I looked like some chubby middle aged woman who should look in the mirror and stop dressing inappropriately. These jeans stretch pretty much all over. I ordered a pair in Amazon’s recommended of size 14 but also in the size I suspected was better for me, size 16. I took reviewer’s advice and did not get “Long”. This was sound advice, the long’s would have required hemming. I tried the size 16 first- they are incredibly comfortable and soft. They are roomy in the right places and the waist band height is much better. The crotch area was an exception though. That shouldn’t feel like there’s extra unneeded fabric, but it did. After washing this hasn’t bothered me. I do need a belt to keep these up if my phone is in the pocket. Next I tried the size 14. I’m fairly confident that they will fit better if I lost 5 pounds. Otherwise I can wear them but the fit feels too small and I suspect they might look too small. I actually ordered another size 16 so that I have more than one pair of blue jeans to wear. Highly recommend these jeans no matter what body shape. If you are struggling with waistbands, which are too tight these jeans have more than enough stretch in the fabric. The waistband doesn’t roll or curl over after bending down and the length, even after washing has stayed exactly like it was when I got them I did not need to buy long. The regular length is quite long enough. Buying jeans online feels like a gamble—you know the price, you've read the guidelines, but the outcome is always a surprise. I was recently searching for bootcut jeans, and out of 6 or 7 pairs, this is the only one I decided to keep. I’ll share what influenced my choice and my thoughts after wearing them regularly. I’d start with a very common issue—sizing. The official size chart suggested a 12, but after reading reviews, I ordered a 10, and then ended up reordering an 8, which turned out to be the perfect fit. The fabric is quite unique: 60% cotton, 22% viscose, 17% polyester, and 1% elastane. This blend makes the jeans thick yet stretchy—extremely soft, almost buttery, and very comfortable. Compared to regular denim, they feel more substantial, hold their shape well, and stay looking put-together throughout the day. They’re mid-rise, though they sit about an inch lower than my natural waist. I’m 5'5", and the 32" inseam is perfect for wearing with regular sneakers—they don’t drag on the ground or bunch at the ankles. I also want to highlight the waistband—it’s very elastic and comfortable, so there’s no tightness or discomfort around the waist during the day. Have been having trouble finding jeans that fit ok that aren't skinny or super wide legs which I don't care for. These fit nice and have good stretch in them. I am between a 6 and 8, sometimes 6 works, sometimes 8. These in Size 6Short fit great. For reference I'm 5'6, 125 lbs. I hope they don't shrink in the length but I know the next length up would have been way too long. They are not a lightweight jean. They have good structure which is great for tummy control but also they stretch to fit you. The 8's probably would have also worked but the legs would have been too loose. Out of the package I loved these jeans!! They fit perfect around my waist and it's been a long time that I've had that happen purchasing online. The quality is very nice and thick enough were you won't sweat your behind off when you go into peoples hot houses over the holidays. I love the style and the look. And the value for money was on point! I never thought I would like this brand because I'm a genx so back in my day Lee never fit right and I didn't like them. But they have changed so much!! Ok now why I gave 4 stars. So as the day wore on they started to sag on me. I am 5 foot 7 and weigh around 165 and got a size 14. The waist fit perfect! Didn't kill me when I sat down and the blue lining was so soft around my belly. But the leg fit was a little too baggy for my liking. I wish they were just a little fitter. And I had to keep pulling them up by the end of the night. So should I size down? I'm scared to bc then will the waist be too tight? Ugh..I don't know. I'm going to wear a belt with these for late nights and I'm going to buy a smaller size and see how that goes!! But ladies I've lost a lot of weight and menopause has hit, so I carry a little more weight on my belly that's why it's so hard for to find a good size and comfortable. Ordered size: 6 Short I am 4'9", 125-127 lbs Typically when I get petite/short jeans, they still will be long as I am so short. They are roughly 2-3 inches too long & would drag on the ground without heels. I was very overweight in the beginning of the year, and have since lost weight. I had no idea what size I would fit in, but based off the reviews I went with 6 Short. I am obsessed. They are so comfortable. After 4 kids, my stomach is always where I hold the weight, I still have a mom pouch, but these are not tight around my waist. The button is comfortable. This is a lovely jeans, I'm 5ft 4" 120lbs, I got the 2short size, it fits great. It is just a tad too long but i can work with that (better long than short). The materials is soft and just hugs the body. Will buy again.

I haven’t worn jeans in probably 10 years now . Saw these and said why not . I got a 6 short . Almost Everything about them I liked ,fit great ,soft, stretchy. I was very pleased. The one thing I didn’t like was the hip area . I asked my daughter if she noticed anything and she said the hip area looks a little off . I was going to see about an exchange.
