First, they are cotton, but fit awesome. The waist has an inner band and stretches and is perfect for when you need to wear layers or maybe after a thanksgiving dinner. It allows you to gain or lose weight a little without needing to buy new clothes. It is hard to describe, but the pants are and look like jeans, yet stretch a little. I ride motorcycles, and its nice when pants give a little as you are moving around or if you need to layer long johns. The straight leg fit right over motorcycle boots just fine. Also, the jeans look thick, but are also very soft to the touch and feel absolutely great when you wear them. They are so comfortable that you could even jog or work out in them since they stretch...no joke. Would be perfect if you had a job that might require you to run, like a criminal or an undercover cop who has to chase him LOL. As I think about it, these would be perfect "operator" pants for everyday wear, when you are a SWAT guy and need to strap on gear at a moments notice but you don't want to "look" like a cop wearing 5.11 pants all the time. Also would be good if you have big muscles and prefer stretchable material. Since they have a wide range of sizes, you can get your EXACT fit without needed to get them further tailored saving you money. It is a great product at a great price. I bought one pair, to verify fit, tried them on, then immediately ordered two more pairs in other colors. Unbeatable value at this price point. I was recommended these jeans by a friend, they are a good pair of jeans! I did order a 48x32 and was sent a 48x30, but the 30 was actually fine for me, and I’m fairly tall (6’3”). The jeans are very very stretchy, which is good for bending down, getting on your knees, or doing work around the house! I would say these fit a little bigger than expected. I had recently tried on another pair of 48s in another brand and they were hard to button, but these easily have a couple inches of extra room! If I buy another pair, I’ll definitely get them in a 46. These jeans are also big in other places, they are really big in the seat and thighs. I have bigger thighs than most men, and these fit just around my thighs but are still comfortable. I’m sure these would be perfect for everyone else! ... show more

I've bought a few pairs of these over the years b/c I have a really small waste compared to my hips and I have a lot of trouble getting pants that fit. These are the best fitting pants I've had in a while. They will expand with you if you're a little bigger in one area while remaining snug elsewhere. They wash really well and look crisp whether you pull them out of the washer and air dry or use the dryer, they always look pretty good eve if you don't iron.
