It is very relaxing to do and I'm sure it will be beautiful once I finish. Only suggestions for the company I would have would be to have more blank edging around the art in case someone wants to frame or mount it the picture isnt cut off. Right now there is about 1/16 of and edge. It would also be nice if a larger finished product picture was included. The tiny picture currently included is hard to refer to. Otherwise, I love it. Anyone purchasing will need a magnifying light so you can see what you are doing. Don't know how it would even be possible without one! The numbers and paint areas are really small in a lot of areas.

I purchased the Apple orchard painting, and it was a very relaxing activity to do over the weekend to de-stress from work. I think the quality of the canvas is nice, and I appreciate them providing a colored and number reference picture. This could be for beginners if you don't mind how small some of the number spaces are. With that being said, I think the brushes were pretty poor quality. I think they could've done with making some smaller ones. Most of the painting (at least the one that I got) is made up of tiny number spots. And in that particular painting, precision is beneficial to show the overall painting looks, especially the leaves. Because the smallest brush was too flimsy, my leaves turned out like blobs because I couldn't be as precise as I wanted to. But that's honestly just a small hangup. It was fun and worth the money at the end of the day. So, I still recommend it!

The unframed canvas is of good quality. The paints came in a vacuum sealed wrap to keep them fresh and a sheet of the numbered paint by number canvas is included for reference. This kit includes 4 brushes instead of the usual 3. My order came in a sturdy cylinder container inside an Amazon shipping box. Everything arrived in good condition. My disappointment is that the top and bottom edges of the canvas were trimmed to the very edges of the artwork. There is no more than 3/8" allowance outside of the printed area on either side. I contacted Ledgebay directly and the owner responded to me with an explanation referring to shipping costs. Since this is not the standard for unframed PBN kits, I suggest that this information be included in the discription. Here is Ken's response: "At Ledgebay we refuse to sell folded canvas's to customers. We designed a canvas that was trimmed on two sides to fit in a package that was less than 18" as shipping doubles for packages over that length and we want to offer a high quality kit at an affordable price. In short, our current unframed kits are not designed to be stretched on a frame, nor are they marketed as such. You can mount the canvas to a backerboard or mount in a traditional picture frame. **Update** Our version 2 unframed kits will be the standard length as we will be folding them only on the edges to fit in the same packaging. Ok, well this was a bit more than 2 sentences but I hope it answers your question. We also sell pre-framed kits in 12" x 16" and 16" x 20" in all of our designs. "

I started painting and noticed the paints were A little dry, So I added a few drops of water. The More I went into the different colored pots, The paints seem to be drier and drier. I had already returned one set. This was my replacement For the same reason. I finally had to quit and box it up and send it back. I am thoroughly Disappointed!

Very nice picture and it was send rolled up , so lays flat. The paints cover well, except the light colors as I have noticed all the paint by number do, so I go over them again. I have not finished it yet, but I think there is enough paint to do the job well. The only thing I would like to see included is a plain sheet with the numbers on it. Otherwise it is fun to play around with and the brushes are included. I have finally realized that I can actually shape my brushes to my liking and wich makes it easier for a non artistic person like me.

As a beginner to PBN I jumped headfirst. It was only after I started painting that I read tips/tricks, do’s/don’t’s. So anxious to get started with another, but fearful of quality. Let’s just say, LedgeBay rocks! 1. Canvas ROLLED, professionally packaged, reference sheet, and a thank you card (love), to name a few. 2. Love the light printing on canvas, not the heavy black print. All reference numbers are shown in specific area, no overlapping. LOVE how reference numbers are shown multiple times in larger areas. No trying to follow a maze. 3. Paints great. Great coverage. Second coats not required..thanks to the faint print and opaque paints. Work on canvas daily and anxious for end result. My only wish would be more canvas around border (unable to stretch on frame). Will shop frame options. Highly recommend! Will post update with end result.
