This was my first ever Paint-by-Number Kit and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! When I picked it, I purely judged by the picture, had no idea about the difference in difficulty levels for PBNs in general, the amount of small areas I would need to consider, the time it would take me to complete the piece. And it took me a long time! I ended up ordering an extra set of paints since the original ones dried out in the process and I didn’t want to dilute them. So these days I just order extra paints when I order the actual kit. But probably not everyone might need the extras if they are simply faster - the amount of paint was enough. Now that I’ve completed my first PBN project, I’m hooked)). It’s such a fun, creative and at the same time challenging hobby! Working on it felt like it was 100% mine - yes, of course, you have it pre-drawn and the paint colors are pre-mixed for you, but still it was a lot of creative effort on my part. If I could recommend something to the people doing the kit for the first time, is getting professional acrylic brushes of different sizes - cannot even tell you how much easier and more enjoyable the process will be. Overall, I’m very happy with this kit - the canvas quality was good (I bought the pre-stretched canvas), the art and the rendering of it - very pretty, the pricing is comparable to other PBN kits. This will be my 3rd painting and I have bought from 3 different companies on Amazon. The first one came with paint that was not the greatest, kept drying out. The second company I used had the same problem with the paint plus I ran out of paint for the background and the numbers were in red and blurred so I had to guess the number . BUT THIS CO. ….. so far the paint is creamy and consistent and glides onto the canvas , no clumping at all. The numbers are very clear to see. This is the first one I have purchased that was already framed and I will go that route from now on. It was delivered fast… 2 days It was delivered un bothered …. No damage I recommend framed that way you do not have creased canvas. I will purchase from this company again all because of the paint and the numbers being clearly printed

I bought this paint-by-number, along with one other, before COVID. I started on this one but became very frustrated, partially because I needed to have my glasses renewed, but also because the spaces are so tiny and the numbers are hard to see. So I put it aside until after my eye doctor’s appointment, but it was cancelled, due to COVID. So, life happens and 4 years go by, but I didn’t forget. Three weeks go, with brand new glasses, I started again. The spaces were still too small and the smallest brush too big, but I stuck with it. If you are a perfectionist, like I am, this may not be for you. I often found that I ran one space over into another or misread a number. But if you are a perfectionist but love a challenge, as I do, then go for it. Keep in mind that as one of the pictures shows, the picture does not stretch around the sides top or bottom of the canvas. Since I did not want to use a frame, I continued the scene around those edges with the leftover paint, and I think I did a pretty good job. I took away one star because the print and the lines were so hard to see. I’m including one picture that shows how things run together, but for some reason, in the photo, the lines are much much darker than they are in person. Also, the paint colors are not very true to the original. The sky has a lot of green when I expected blue, and the water also has too much green. Even though the paints were bought so long ago, the only ones that were too thick were the ones that I had already opened 4 years ago, and a little water fixed that problem. Even so, even the thin smooth paint would dry out on the brush in the time it would take me to magnify things so I could see where to put my next stroke. This particular painting would work out much better on a larger canvas. I did look at the other one that I had purchased along with this one, which isn’t one of the ones listed at this time, and its numbers and lines are much clearer, with bigger spaces to paint. I’m looking forward to it. All in all, I enjoyed this experience, and kudos to the original artist. It’s a great piece of art.

I am so addicted and obsessed with this painting! The quality of the paint is great and I love that the kit came with all the supplies needed to enjoy this project! I’m on my third sit down of enjoying this painting and I cannot wait to finish and order more! The difficulty level is challenging but fun. The kit came with three small paint brushes and one larger brush. I have mostly used the smaller ones he’s and only the big one once. The numbers are printed clearly and very easy to follow. For under $30 this is a great stress relief project!

I know that a paint by number set cannot look exactly like the original, but these colors are not even close in some places. To me, the sky looks like it was done in crayons. The original had blue in the sea and a blue bicycle, but no blues were provided in this set. The main color scheme are shades of gray. There are 4 gray paints in this set and they are used in the boardwalk, beach and sea. It's hard to tell where the board walk ends and the beach begins and then where the beach ends and the sea begins. The fenders of the bicycle are painted with one of those grays, so I substituted a lavender to make them visible. Most all of the paints required a couple drops of water to be usable, but 2 of the paints were so hard they were unredeemable. The description of the set says there are 4 brushes included, but I only received 3. When I contacted customer service, they said they upgraded the brushes, so now they only give 3. But all three are round brushes and you also need a flat brush. I had use one I already had. It may be that they just sent the wrong paints for this picture, but I won't be taking a chance on another one.
