    • absolutely terrible - 2 of 3 units died instantly
I bought 3 of these signs. 2 of them turned on for a couple seconds then immediately gave a loud POP and died. Absolutely terrible quality. I am currently waiting for 2 replacement units to arrive, and will test those as soon as they get here.

    • Super easy and user friendly to use
I really like how easy it is to use and be able to hook up to your phone or laptop. Super nice that you can go anywhere with it with the car charger.

    • Nice when it works
First unit was dead on arrival and returned. Second unit worked great with a nice bright display. The software left a lot to be desired - probably still in beta. One concern was when it was first started, the wifi disconnected from the sign a couple of times and connected to my internet. There was no need for the internet so was it calling home? It only did that the first time the software was started. I programmed the sign many times trying to get exactly what I wanted because the preview did not agree with the sign. Then it stopped accepting the programing, including the default display. So the second one was returned and I'm not trying again. ... show more

The software is funky to read but my son who is good with computers figured out the procedure and had it working quickly. As best as we can figure out, if you want to alternate your message as open or closed for business every day it has to be done manually within wi-fi range of the sign. The wi-fi range is only a few feet. The lettering is good and easy to read. ... show more

This is a small pitch (5mm) sign that is big enough to read from a distance. It sets up quickly and is easy to program wirelessly from a PC or iPad.

    • Quality control is not well
I had high hopes for this sign. I bought two to upgrade from two 96x16 pixel signs. Got super excited that I could use GIFs in the sign. That excitement faded fast. One sign had a blown LED where it would only show red. Rest of the colors were great. I uploaded the USB stick into the other sign. I noticed several LEDs were lacking in color compared to the GIFS on the sign with the one blown LED. For close to $200 for each sign, I wasn't accepting one LED bulb sticking out like a sore thumb in red, much less several LEDs not even showing the correct color range. I am not liking the odds of getting a replacement for that much money and expecting it to work, especially since the packaging itself was not damaged.     • Hardware seems good. But software has bugs and the manual's English translation is poor.
The sign itself seems well made. But I've run into numerous bugs with the HC [V22.01] software that you run on a PC to program the sign. In addition to the bugs, the manual is a bit hard to figure out because of a poor translation to English. WHY don't Chinese companies pay a professional to translate technical manuals?? I'll update this review within next week as to whether I was able to work around the bugs... ... show more
