Ordered for a family member who rides frequently who said the stock headlight on the motorcycle they were using was really dim. All info is from them. They used this product on a Hawk DLX, not a KTM as this product is intended/suggestive. Since there were no other direct-fit options at the time we went with this, and other than making a customer pug-n-play harness to use on the Hawk DLX without cutting factory wires...this headlight is a great value! Other brands cost 2-3x as much and output a similar amount of light with the same mounting and connectors. *NOTE: Some models may require re-pinning this headlight connector (mentioned in the description) but that's easy if you are patient and do a bit of easy research. The light can be wired for DRL, low beam, and high beam, or any combo therein. the DRL is perfect for daytime requirements (if you live in those places) or you just don't want the extra power draw from the battery/bike. The low beam is plenty bright and covers the whole lane to the edge, very similar to what's shown in the images and description in the listing. The high beam is interesting, it's not brighter but rather shines extra light above and centered where the low beam projects (both beams are projector lenses). It's the same brightness, but concentrated in a smaller spot which helps not blind others on the road while also providing extra distance to see. I would recommend this for those that want better output than some of the stock headlights found even on some modern motorcycles, but generally if your bike already comes from the factory with LED headlights (not aftermarket), then this may be an upgrade worth the value. If you live in a Karen state/municipality/area, be warned...you may get drama since this is advertised as "DOT/ECE Approved" but I have not verified if this does in fact have those certifications. So if that isn't an issue for you, don't think twice and try this headlight. Highly recommend this product.

I ordered this light for my 2020 KTM 250 XC-W in order to increase visibility while trail riding. The package comes with the lamp itself, a headlight mask, a jumper harness allowing you to repin the connector to suit your bike, an assortment of rubber mounting straps, and some rudimentary instructions. Quality of the lamp itself seems very good. Fit and finish is solid and the lenses, housing and plastic cover all seem to be of high quality. The headlight mask did not fit properly over my brake and speedometer cables, so I opted to use the stock headlight mask. The lamp assembly mounted easily into the stock KTM mask using a mix of provided fasteners and stock fasteners from the bike. The wiring as delivered is incorrect for my bike. You can use the included harness to adapt the wiring to your motorcycle but I opted to repin the factory connector to avoid using the extra harness. This is easy to do with a small flathead screwdriver or mechanic's pick. The brightness is significantly better than the stock housing. The color temperature is bright white, similar to modern automotive lighting. I expect that it will be far more visible through the woods, which is important for safety and was my main reason for ordering. In all I think this product is a good buy, whether you're trying to replace a broken stock housing or just improve light output and visibility.

6-month update: The lights work perfect, nice and bright. The issue I have is the rubber straps, these are junk. Straps broke 6months after it's been installed on the bike. BUT the bike hasn't been on the road that much so I can't say it's due to vibrations. Installed for 6 months but on the road (asphalt) for maybe 30km. I have another bike and the straps on that are of different quality and material.

This headlight is awesome. I reviewed it on my YouTube channel, SpacemanOnWheels, and many of my subscribers have requested it. It looks great on my ebike, was easy to install, and, most importantly, it's incredibly bright at night. The road was so well-lit, it felt like I had the sun shining down. Headlight looks awesome, wired correctly and headlight operates without any issues. Straps for light have already failed. I ordered this headlight in April 2024 for a project bike, installed it in June 2024, rode the bike maybe 5 times on road (supermoto), straps started to separate and have almost completely torn. Attempted to contact customer service/ seller, no options available for contacting seller or customer support. The headlight is useless without the straps. Really disappointed with the lack of support for this product.

This light is epic! I mean even if it wasn't that strong it would still deserve 5 stars, just for nailing the look! It looks awesome! I've used the JFG one here on Amazon that has the little "V" light bar on the bottom and this light just blows it out of the water. I saw this thing on ebay first like 2 weeks ago and was intrigued with it ever since. Once I saw it on Amazon I knew I had to try it (because easy refunds, right?). There is no other light on the market that I would choose over this one, for less than $100. It's absolutely worth the price! Yes, Acerbis VSL light is probably great but it doesn't have DRL or high/low beam and isn't DOT approved, and even if it was, it's still over $100. The DRL (day time running light) on this looks baddass. The entire assembly just looks great all around. If you have money to blow then go buy the Baja Designs light for $400+. If you don't, or just don't really need to and want something that can do the job when needed, then order this light! But if you already have the stock headlight, it may be worth just upgrading the Holegen bulb to an LED model as that will help a TON! but I didn't have a headlight before this.
