Nice quality heavy feeling contact paper. Its very shiny and foil like, it didn't look like vinyl. I chose it because I was re-covering a fridge and it comes in a wide width. The fridge turned out great. It does take a little patience but here are a few tips to make it easier: Take a spray bottle of water and put 3 drops of dish soap in it. Mist the surface of the item before sticking the paper. This way you can re-adjust and move the paper around easily and it's way easier to get the bubbles out. Work in sections, only peeling off the backing for 6 to 8 inches of the paper at a time. Start at the top center and work your way to the edges, getting out all the bubbles before unrolling more. Buy a plastic scraper that's intended for this purpose, it's going to work a lot better than using a credit card. Sometimes the very bottom doesn't want to stick well because all the moisture from the sprayer gets pushed down- dont worry about this, just leave it til the next day and it will have dried enough to stick. ... show more

I put this Stainless Steel Contact Paper on a black trash compactor to match it to my other appliances. At first, it seemed to go on smoothly than all of a sudden it began getting tiny bubbles in it that I couldn't work out. I have used peel and stick paper a lot without any issue. This will do until I can order a metal face for my compactor but it's not what I had hoped for. ... show more

Though the appearance of this wrap looks very pleasing. It is difficult to wrap large items with it due to the thickness of the material. If you have something smaller like a book or shoe box size, I feel this product would be perfect.

Basically garbage for anything larger or less flat than a dishwasher panel. It’s impossible to keep it flat to the surface, two people were not able to make this work. It refuses to lay flat, ripples are inevitable. Total waste of time and money.

I bought this stainless steel wrap to cover our dishwasher which was originally black on the front. Installing takes some patience but ends up looking great. The product looks nice, but that’s it. The application process is HORRIBLE. The adhesive is way too sticky so you can’t reposition at all without damaging the film. It’s thicker which is nice but also means it more susceptible to dents. After tried to adhere to an ikea cabinet door with a wide film applicator and there were so many bubbles I had to remove it all together and try again and the adhesive damaged the surface of cabinet so I have to wrap it. On the second attempt I used some windex to minimize bubbles but the film still didn’t lay flat over corners well without bubbling slightly. For smaller projects I think this could work but I don’t recommend for anything larger than 12 x 12 in. Wasted a whole roll and now I need to find something else. ... show more
