Up front, this is a large, expensive device. That said, a few bottles of “magic make me young potion” costs the same; this device is totally worth it. It works! Be sure to follow the directions really well (even the box has good info) for your skin tone and you will start to see the difference in your skin. The device’s touch screen is pretty easy to use, just be sure to do it safely (start slow, wear eye protection, etc.). If you want to see good results you need to use it daily for a month or more…but it will be worth it. Personally, this beats an acid peel any day of the week. The changes to my neck and face are good enough to make my friends ask what I’m up to because they say I look younger! I even used this on a scar on my leg and it looks better. Bottom line…if you go in for any type of skin treatment or expensive unguents, you can save your cheddar, buy this machine, and treat yourself daily. This would make a great gift. Hope it works for you too!

This is a nice high end LED red light therapy machine. It has infrared and blue light as well. I think it produces adequate light, not much heat, and seems effective for healing skin. It's easy to use and is well made. I love the shape that makes it easy to get your head under it without having to touch it or put something directly on your face. It can also wrap around other parts of your body too.

I am holding back a star because what I really think it needs is a remote. Also, it is unfair to judge its effectiveness because as with most light therapy, it takes weeks or months to see significant improvements so I can't in good faith tell you it does anything like that because I've only had it a few days. But otherwise, out of the numerous red light therapy devices that I have tried over the past year or two (I can count at least 7), this is absolutely my favorite for specific purposes and I say that because I have one or two other devices that are great for other specific purposes. But this machine is by far a better choice for face issues because of its design. I have tried masks and hated them. I have at least two or three lamps which might be okay for certain situations, but definitely not for my face and other parts. In the picture, you will see I have my feet under the lamp and that is because I have recently had a change in my blood pressure medicine and it has caused some swelling in my feet and lower legs (a common side effect) and it is much worse in my left foot than the right due to ancient injuries to that left foot (sounds like a movie title?). It occurred to me that the combination light therapy might have an effect on that tissue and I am withholding judgement, but feel I do have some reasons to be hopeful. Mainly though, it is the face that I absolutely love this device for, even though I demonstrate it on other body parts. The lamps I've tried require you to have them situated just so and then not move around. This device allows me to have some movement of my head while I'm under it. I appreciate the eye shades that block out all the light. They actually do a great job. Now for the one improvement I think this should be supplied with and especially at this price point - a remote control. I say that because it is really cumbersome to get it all set up and then get your head under it and in the process, more than once, I have bumped it and touched something and reset it or changed the settings somehow. Also, if I have it set for 10 minutes and then decide I want to do another ten, it would be really nice to have a remote - even a wired one would be okay - but I would definitely like to see one added. I also appreciate the fact that it folds - not substantially a space saver, but somewhat. I also feel that at this price point they should absolutely supply a nice soft storage bag for it. The manual is kind of on the slim side when it comes to any detailed information, but it does cover the basics. A definite thumbs up from me.

The device folds for easy storage. Unfortunately, there is no physical mechanism to lock the position of the device. If I bumped into it when I was using it, it can easily fall over. There are a handful of settings: red light, blue light, infrared, a mix of all, and a cycle through of all. There is an adjustable timer and a lock button, so you can't accidentally hit the buttons when adjusting it. If you have to change the settings, you have to get to adjust them and get back under the light. A wireless remote, or inline remote connected to the plug would have been beneficial. While the light therapy part works fine, the design is flawed, as I would not like to worry about it falling on my face again if I move while under it.

The mask fits my head well, and the foldable design makes it easy to store. I like the four light modes each one has its own purpose. The touchscreen is easy to use, and the timer helps me keep sessions the same. The red light mode feels gentle and relaxing, and the blue light works well for my blemishes, I didn't feel discomfort with it. I see my skin looks a little more even after using it regularly, though I know results can be different and take time. Setup was simple, and the unit is solid. Overall, it feels like a professional device that I can use it at home, and it's convenient for anyone wanting to add light therapy into their routine at home.
