I like to have a little coffee break while running errands on the weekend, and discovered in the past few years that it's nicer and quieter eating in my car than in a coffee shop. The only problem was the mess of dropping crumbs or spilling coffee on myself or the rest of the car. This tray solves that problem! It attaches nicely to the steering wheel of my Kia Soul after turning the wheel upside down. I do have to move my seat backwards to accommodate the tray but that's no big deal. I bought the version with a slot for my phone so I can read stuff while I eat. The tray is sturdy. The cup holder is a bit shallow but big enough for a large cup and still sturdy. Highly recommend!

I eat lunch in my car everyday and this is amazing at keeping my car clean and I can easily prop my phone up to stream or scroll through social media. Then if I have crumbs I can just brush them off outside. It fits between my passenger seat and center console.

This tray suits the major reason I purchased it. I teach private instruction online and often am unable to find a spot to teach my lessons or able to outside in inclement weather. The tray is too low to do this. However, with my steering wheel I can attach it on top and it is the perfect level to conduct class. I have a Hyundai 2012 Tucson. The depth of the tray was disappointing. I have a notebook and it does not fit inside the space, but it does rest on the tray well. I also do not need to turn my steering wheel, whether mounting top or bottom. In order to eat, the cup spot will only hold a child's size cup. The tray does not lay flat either. It tilts up but is sturdy when leaned on. It is great to eat on. I love the slot for my kindle or phone. I do not like either straight up, but the devices rest well against the steering wheel. The seat in my SUV goes back a good distance. I am 5' 2" and slightly overweight. I have enough room to be comfortable. If a seat does not go back far enough, the space between a taller and heavier person and tray may be tight. Overall, the tray will meet my needs. I will not be using it regularly, only when out (i.e., appointments, traveling) so I won't have to cancel classes and lose pay. I will definitely use it for snacks and meals on the road.

Note: For the Nissan Pathfinder &/or steering wheels that have a "flat" portion at bottom of steering wheel. Will need to turn steering wheel left or right before turning off car, in order for tray to fit & work properly. Other than that very happy with the product. Packaging: There was none. :-/ It was a bitterly cold day when it arrived and I was surprised it was not in a box for protection. Exactly as the picture shows that's how it arrived.
