This bag is a dupe for a high end bag. I was looking for something in between a work tote and a handbag to store under my desk. next to my bed. I work from home for myself. I wanted something to keep my budget planner, my LV planner, pencil case with pens, colored pens, highlighters, and colored markers in. It stores snacks, tissue, cords, etc in smaller pouches. I love this bag. It's the perfect every day bag, a work bag, a day trip bag, a travel bag. I can not say enough about this bag. I returned about 5 bags before I found this one. It's worth every penny. The PU leather quality is superb. The color is a rich black. The piping is brown. I purchased some acrylic matte paint pens to paint the trim. But, honestly, it's not that big of a deal to me. There's no smell. It's perfect for travel. And very stylish. Thank you!

UPDATE: Below the original review: I'm giving this 3 stars but it had the potential to be five. This is a design *inspired* by the new "it bag"; the Margaux" Here are my issues: 1. (Great): My bag (large, black) looks JUST like the picture. Like, just like it. 2. (Good): The vegan leather is well done for what it is. It very much resembles smooth, matte black leather. Resembles; it's not going to behave like real genuine leather 3. (Good): Price. There are few more sellers have for $120+. I paid $70 and am OK with that. I think its a good price point for the item. 4. (Good) Its well made. The hardware is heavyweight and the lining is placed properly with no issues of shifting, ballooning or tearing. 5. (Wish it was different) - The hardware is silver; it would be a closer match to the bag that this is bag is *inspired by* is the if the hardware was gold. 6. (Disappointing) - The seams of the bag are dark brown versus the black vegan leather that the rest of the bag is. Like the picture. All in all I'm on the fence on whether to keep it. Admittedly its the best *inspired* by option I've come across at tis price point. I think I'm being too hard on the bag; I brought it to be close to the original (Margaux). If you're looking for a large(ish), classic minimalist bag, this fits the bill. **************************************************************************************************** I am in love with this bag! I changed all the reasons I didn't like it with a <$20 fix. Weirdly: I painted it black and gold. Apparently you can successfully paint PU leather (Google U). I used matte black acrylic paint. There are a couple ways to do it but I went lazy and just applied with a sponge paintbrush. I used a gold marker (yep! its a thing at a craft store). I ended up painting the hardware with metallic paint over the marker just because the gold was a better match. I would say that the paint adhered better with the marker as it's base. It went shockingly faster than I expected. I only put on one coat of black. After everyday use with travel and the elements, I will retouch some lines on the corners. I'm not the most careful when it comes to tote bags. For me the bag HAS to be functional. I have too many designer bags that aren't functional for my tote needs; looking at you LV Neverfull!! My go-to is the sadly discontinued LARGE Russell from D&B in the natural color. Because I now commute via train versus car, I've had to switch something's up and this bag is everything for me!

bought this tote hoping it would be my new fall work bag for carrying my laptop, files, and other essentials. Based on reviews, I ordered the large size, but unfortunately it’s still too small to function as a true work bag. It holds my laptop, a few files, and a spiral notebook, with those few things there is not much room for anything else and it loses its shape — which is disappointing since the structured style was what first attracted me to it. The opening is also not very wide, which makes it difficult to get my laptop in and out smoothly. That said, the quality is fantastic. The stitching and material feel very durable, the color is exactly as shown in the pictures, and it does stand upright on its own. The style is beautiful, and it really works well as an oversized purse. At this price point, I’m still debating whether to keep it — I love the look, but for my needs as a work tote, it just doesn’t offer the functionality or space I was hoping for.

Absolutely! Absolutely! Absolutely! Love this bag just got it two days ago the color and quality of the bag is amazing. This is definitely an inspiration of the Row Margaux😍😍😍 without the price. Definitely will be buying this exact style and another color as well as the suede’s style, too. Would purchase and recommend this bag 1000 times over. I got the 15” which I believe is the biggest they offer and I’m beyond happy I did would definitely suggest getting the 15” for women who carry quite a bit of things in their purse.

I just hate how cheap the bag looks.. the tan color bag looks like it’s cheap.. which we know it is but I’ve seen and bought better bags for the same price that don’t look as cheap.

I was looking for a simple but timeless bag kind of like a Birkin, something that could weather & look worn but cool. This bag is really beautiful & fits the bill! I especially LOVE that the hardware is silver rather than gold. The inside is wider at the bottom than the top so I’m getting a silky bag insert hoping it will help with organizing, also going to modify & add a ‘Stanley’ strap (I don’t use a Stanley but a Brumate w/ no handle). The only thing I DESPERATELY WISH is that it came with a detachable shoulder strap w/ discreet hooks. I wouldn’t use it with a shoulder strap all the time, but it would definitely come in handy sometimes. I think that was a miss with this bag, it would be perfect, but I also want to say that bags that place the shoulder strap hooks externally look ridiculous when you don’t have the strap on there so they would need to put the hooks inside so it wasn’t unsightly. Overall, this bag is awesome.
