Bought one of these for my youngest child and my daughter loved it so I had to order one for her too. They are super cute, soft and cuddly and I love all the features they have. So many songs that include your child's name and favorite things and teaches them to spell their name too. The voice they use is the same for Scout and Violet but it's a cute voice so it works. You versus the violet he tells you not to worry about 😂 😂 😂 😂 It has more features, more plush, just overall the new and improved violet! Old violet started crackling and sounded like a smoker so we upgraded. I’m surprised at how excited I am for this improvement. Happy happy.

It's very cute, and my 5 month old loves how soft it is. He's in the stage where he wants to feel everything, and this is one of his favorites to "pet". We ordered this because we had to take an 8 hour road trip (moving), and I wanted something that would keep him busy in the car. It arrived a day before we had to leave, and through the packing and cleaning, I only really had a few minutes to plug him into my computer to get the name programmed in. That didn't happen. The second I plug him in, this horrible sound started to play through my speakers waking my son from his nap. I have seen other people have the same problem, but didn't have time to troubleshoot the issue. That being said, it works very well for entertaining my 5 month old. We never got his name programmed in partly due to us not having the time to sit down and troubleshoot, but I'm sure there are fixes that I will have to find. So if Scout saying your son or daughters name is important to you, please make sure you have a few minutes to troubleshoot if you run into the same issue I did! Another small complaint is that Scout isn't very loud, and doesn't grab my sons attention if he isn't fully facing him, but overall I am happy that I purchased this for him! ... show more

We purchased this toy for our soon to be one year old son. It is fun and interactive. I love that you can customize it to say your child’s name, favorite color, animal, and food. The dog will even spell out your child’s name to help teach them. It has fun, catchy songs. It was not difficult to set it up, the box even give access to set up the dog before hand, so the child can open the gift and it already knows your child’s name. ***I did need an adapter to set up the dog with my iPhone as it uses a headphone jack.*** ... show more
