The only reason it lost a star is because the action on the pause button is very stiff and requires a bit of force to use it. Otherwise great - love the rocker arm action and configuration is very simple.

I bought these in bulk for my chess club. They are great for the price! Takes some practice to get how to work them. They are pretty cheaply made of course, but for $20 it's solid.

The clocks works for chess like it should. The only complaint is the missing step in the instructions where we had to turn the clock off and on to use the countdown mode. This power-cycle step was not mentioned in the instructions, and we had to search the Internet to find the correct procedure. The price is more than half of a nice tournament chess set.
