  • Leaf Rake

Item as described. Easy to put together and sturdy, arrived on time.

  • Excellent Unbreakable Rake
Style: 64"
I love to putter in the garden, but since arthritis has ravaged my bones, it gets harder to do the little things. Raking is one of those things but with this feather weight rake from Lilyvane, I think I can. Right out of the box I could tell this was a strong durable quality garden tool. I was able to assemble this unbreakable rake with the enclosed printed instructions in just 5 minutes! The two included wrenches made it easy for me, even with arthritis, to turn and tighten the nuts. The 4-section screw together handle is adjustable to 60” and is built from rust resistant stainless steel. For the grandchildren to help I would simply unscrew and take off a couple of sections from the handle. Yes, it is light enough for them to participate! The head of the rake is 17” wide and has 23 flexible nylon plastic teeth. The teeth gently pull out leaves and debris without ripping your lawn apart. There are no random burrs. Comfortable and safe for me to handle. Built to last a lifetime, this rake is durable and will not crack or warp, even if you use every day and store it in a hot outdoor shed. It won't crumble. This was a smart purchase on my part. Lilyvane delivered excellent value for the price. ... show more

  • Worst rake ever
Style: 64"
I wouldn’t buy this rake if it were only $1. If someone were to ever try to give you this rake for free, I would recommend rejecting it, it would be a burden because you’d just have to immediately toss it. This rake is the poorest quality tool I’ve ever seen. The design of this rake is absolutely awful. The rake comes in multiple sections. The handle is assembled by just pushing the pieces together, which isn’t hard because they’re incredibly loose. There is no screw, no hole and tab system, not a single thing to keep the several pieces of handle together. So, when you rake, or pick up the rake, or try to even move the rake, the handle can just all break apart. The actual rake part of the rake is made of cheap plastic. If the handle weren’t so silly, and someone were to offer it for free, I’d use it knowing it wouldn’t last a season because the plastic is poor quality snd is incredibly brittle plastic. But, the handle is beyond useless, it’s dangerous, so I can’t even imagine that scenario regardless. Basically, this is a totally useless product. I would not recommend this rake at all. ... show more

  • Not Unbreakable, but Still Handy, and Worth it if you Need It
Style: 64"
These inexpensive Chinese hollow screw sections have turned out to be quite useful for me. I've gotten one with a hanging hook (plastic) another one with metal hooks, another one with metal rake, and another one with a microfiber brush and noodles head. The nice thing about it is all of these seem to fit across all the different extension sections. I originally got one with a metal rake, and it worked fine as a roof rake on my metal roof. However, when using on an older composite roof, I'm a bit concerned that a metal rake may damage the shingles. So with this plastic rake, I'm thinking it will be safer to use. One word of caution is hat you nave two screws to tighten on one of the sections (the one with two holes at the end0. You get two screws and two nuts. to attach the rake head. Just be carful, as I was tightening it, I noticed the metal rod as starting to collapse (aks dent) as I really tightened the school. so just be aware, the metal isn't great, and if you wind it up really tight, you may bend the pipe (which is ok, and that's a clear sign you don't have to tighten any further). ... show more

  • Sturdy but small

Smaller than I expected but it got the job done.

  • Worked fine at first... until it didn't.
Style: 64"
The media could not be loaded. This rake started out okay for light leaf cleanup, but it didn’t hold up once I put a little more pressure on it. One of the teeth snapped off and the frame cracked, which was disappointing considering it’s supposed to be durable. The handle is comfortable and the design is easy to use, but the material just isn’t strong enough for anything beyond very light yard work. If you only need something for quick, gentle cleanup, it might be fine. For anything more than that, I’d look for a sturdier option. ... show more

  • Lightweight, perfect for leaf pickup
Style: 64"
This rake is lightweight, and the tines are flexible so as not to dig into the lawn. But what I was happiest about was that they included everything needed to assemble the rake. I didn’t need to go hunting for a real wrench to tighten the nuts onto the bolts – they include a socket wrench and allen wrench, and I was able to assemble the rake in my office! It is very long, so anyone can use it – the sections unscrew easily if you need it to be shorter. The flexible tines feel sturdy enough to last for some time; and the lighter weight means you can rake longer without getting worn out. It rakes a wide path, which will make the job go faster as well. This is a great leaf rake for the money, I’d buy it again. ... show more

  • Unbreakable Nylon Garden Rake for Lawn
Style: 49"
I ordered this yellow Unbreakable Nylon Garden Rake to use in our chicken coop. I prefer plastic rakes for easy cleaning without having to worry about rust. The nylon material is strong, but not quite as flexible as shown in the product pictures. I was not able to fold the sides in, but the teeth were flexible with some pressure. You want a rake to be somewhat rigid for practical use, so I was happy it wasn't flimsy. Assembly is easy; the rake head attaches to the pole with two bolts and nuts, and the metal pole sections screw into each other. The 45-inch length is perfect for my height; for context, I am 5' 2". I will probably order another one to use in the garden. Overall, it is of good quality and a good deal at the current price of $14.99. ... show more
