Everything was in the box, neatly in its place, the only thing I really had to install was the light itself with everything you need already furnished. The tripod was already set up, just a little adjusting, so far I'm loving my grow light!! It's very easy to operate and works beautifully so far, I hope it works a great as everyone else says it does, that's why I purchased it. The price was great also and I love the tripod and light adjustments this light gives you. It's very lightweight. One thing I found out is to give the plants light during the day, not at night, even though they may be getting daylight in the winter, this growlight will give them the boost they need. Plants need a break from light during the night-time just like people. Too much light can actually harm your plant. I set this light at 80% starting off the first week and then at 100% there on on the 12 hour timer, this grow light is like a plant nanny and literally takes care of my plants for me. The timer works flawlessly. I recommend starting your timer from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m., that's about the amount of light they would get in the summer time, which has been perfect for my plants so far, they are loving this light and the investment was well worth it!! It has the full spectrum light they need and are already showing amazing improvement. Trust me, if you give them the light during the day and let them rest during the night they will show you love back by doing what you want them to do by growing!! ... show more

Just received the light today. I ordered the 3 light tripod. I think the lights are smaller on the 3 than the 1 light model but this is fanatstic. I have a houe full of large and small houseplants. One is dying , thats the very sad messy plant on the floor dropping leaves everywhere. Hoping I can bring it back. My plants were not getting sufficient light due to the lovely PNW winter weather. They need to be right in front of open windows . Since that was becoming a pain to move them all the time I searched for a light. This arrived in a very small box. Dont be alarmed. The tripod and all the lights are on the box. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to put together. There are 3 goosenecks that rotate in all directions so i moved my plants all to one area and gave them all a spot light. So far so good! It is sturdy but if you have small ones or a big dig maybe get a nonslip mat to sit it on . It sat on the carpet fine also. It can be as short or high as needed. Im 5'4 and it is taller than me at its max. The lights individually dim to 6 different brightness levels , individually turn off and can be turned off 1 by one of you dont need all 3. There is a setting 3 hours , 6 hours and 12 hours. That works as it went off right at 3 as i set it for. I paid the extra few bucks for 3 years warranty and it comes with 1 year I believe. This is amazing and i will likely buy one more single unit for my office trees. When not in use it can be easy shortened and put in a closet , its extremely compact. Mine will stay out all winter and i will put it away in summer. Recommend 100% and the price is good . I will update again in 3 months. (Excuse the mess , i wanted to ensure you vould see the full tripod. (The small potted flower is a garden bromelade that started to die, that perked back up pretty quick) ... show more

There are different models of lights in this listing. Each model has different features. We got the model with only white (full spectrum) light, not with other colored LEDs in it. Also, the one we ordered is very basic and does not have a timer. This light is a good and bright white colored lamp with adjustable height. 1) I opened the box and my first reaction was oh noooo I have to assemble this? But it turned out to be EXTREMELY easy. So, if you don't want something you have to assemble, don't fret. It's just a matter of extending the tripod and then popping the light head on and screwing nut onto a bolt on with your fingers. Even if you are super busy or a bit uncoordinated and fumbly, you got this. And quickly too. 2) It's simple, no frills. It's EXTREMELY lightweight. The on/off switch is on the cord, works well and feels like good quality. 3) It's function over form. We ordered this to use over houseplants in living room, replacing traditional floor stand lamps that look attractive but do not supply enough light for the plants. The height of the light is tall enough to serve the height needed from the floor, illuminating the plants in the pots on the floor and also the ones on the shelf beside it. Bright enough to illuminate the light loving plants but the design of the light is just not very visually "pretty". However, the full spectrum white light is bright and it is much more visually appealing in a living room than the red, blue or violet lights that are good in a grow room. The style of this light looks a bit like the stands for photography lights and is a bit industrial looking, not decorative unless your decor style is industrial. If it is, you might love it in your living room. 4)The cord extends a little bit, but if you are plugging the light in several feet from an outlet (with the adjustable height of the lamp fully extended) you may need an extension cord. Our light is fully extended and the base is within 2 ft of the outlet and that works fine. ... show more

Stand is a little flimsy, but I don't have to move it much. Timer works pretty good. Haven't noticed big changes is set time/run time. Better than last ones we purchased through amazon. Light is bright.Plants seem to like it.

The lights go together with a tiny struggle, but, got it done. The lights: they work fine, absolutely no significant difference at all. They are simply lights, not GROW lights that enhance growth. It says full spectrum, I have doubts about that. I DID notice after using them for 2 hours each evening to extend daylight, plants were burnt. And so, I think I wasted money. ... show more
