I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw that these were listed as 1800 thread count. That just seemed very high for the price and I was convinced it was a misprint. However, now that I have them in hand, I'm beginning to think that that listing may actually be correct. Bamboo sheets are typically softer and smoother than cotton, with a slightly more satin-like feel. They are usually noticeably cooler as well. But even for bamboo sheets, these are absurdly smooth and soft. They are honestly the kind of sheets I expect to find in a luxury hotel. After an initial wash, I put these on our bed without telling my wife and she immediately commented on the improvement upon climbing in that night (and we do not skimp on our other sheets). It's hard to believe that these were under $40. I'm guessing that these are made by the same factory that makes sheets for a major luxury brand, otherwise I cannot fathom how they can offer them at this price. As I mentioned, I washed these immediately upon receipt. Due to the dark blue color, I played it safe and washed them seperately, although I did throw in a light grey pillow case as a test. When I emptied the dryer lint tray I was worried to see that it was all deep blue, but the pale gray pillow case came out still matching it's counterpart that wasn't washed with it, so bleeding doesn't seem to be an issue at all. Looking more closely at these, they only continue to surprise. The workmanship is truly impressive, with double stitching and re-enforcement everywhere. There was not a single loose thread or pulled stitch on any of the pieces. Not one. That is astonishing. I also noticed that these have a tag stating that they are "OEKO-TEX Standard 100" certified. In order to get this they have to undergo a series of tests by independent labs certifying that they are completely free of any harmful chemicals or substances of any kind. This ensures that they are using premium materials and not cutting costs by using dangerous chemical processes that may leave harmful residue, among other things. This sheet set is an absolutely phenomenal value. I have never seen sheets of this quality at this price point. Not even close. I would highly recommend getting these while you can. I can tell you without question that if they ever offer these in a Queen size, I will be ordering multiple sets on day one. These are 100% that good of a bargain.

Edited to add a star. I've withheld judgment for a week or two now, and for whatever reason, I'm appreciating these sheets more and more. Maybe I had a bad couple nights at first, maybe the humidity was high, who knows. But consistently now for a week or two, I'm finding the sheets cool and so light they kind of float. They remind me of my childhood when we didn't have air conditioning and my mother would "fluff the sheets" over me for awhile when I went to bed. I like these much better than I did initially. I'll leave my first review up in its entirety, just bear in mind that some of my feelings about viscose may have changed, and I'm able to recommend now unreservedly. (end of edit.) It does feel cool and it does feel silky. But it's mid-May and in Phoenix, this week our highs will all be 100° and I'm not sure viscose made from bamboo will help address that. I set the AC to 78° (it's all I can afford) but my bedroom easily is 82° and sometimes 83° at bedtime. I don't find the slinkiness of these sheets helpful when it gets this hot. Seems a coarser weave would "breathe" better and keep the sleeper cooler, at least this sleeper. For several nights I noticed that when between the topsheet and fitted sheet, I started feeling too warm, as if the fabric surrounds me and retains my heat. I did better when I slept on top both sheets, which I've done for several more nights now. I did notice that the product information page is inaccurate. In at least two places the fabric is referred to as "silk." I'm okay with "silky" but to call the fabric "silk" is incorrect. Also twice a geometric pattern is referenced, but these sheets are a solid blue. It makes me wonder if the seller is not being careful with descriptions for various bedding items and is getting their descriptions mixed up. I read about viscose and tencil lyocell processes used to convert plants like bamboo and eucalyptus into fabric. I also have eucalyptus sheets made from the tencil lyocell process and find them sturdier, stiffer, and cooler. I don't know why; it may be a sensitivity to something in the viscose process, or it may just be that slinky fabric makes me feel hot. Though these sheets aren't my favorite, your experience may be entirely different. I hope it is. Recommended with reservations.

Very nice sheets for the price. Excellent color and very soft, slightly more satin finish than most cotton sheets. This was noticeable when first opening them but there was a note indicating they should be washed before first use. Definitely don't skip this as once washed and dried, they are very nice. There was no piling after washing, the pockets of the fitted sheet are deep and overall the sheets fit well. The packaging has an odd detail as these are clearly packaged to be giftable, yet on the box in gold foil isn't "bamboo sheets", or the company name, but instead "LBR02M". I guess this is a product name/number, whatever it is it makes no sense for it to be printed on the box this way. Obviously not a deal breaker, they got the important parts right, good sheets and the right price.
