I was skeptical at first because they felt a little rough. After a couple of washes, they are the most comfortable sheets we have ever owned. They are a little wrinkly but I don’t mind that at all. I heard that linen used to be used in hospitals because it is such a healing fabric. There is scientific research that backs this up as well. Linen is mentioned in the Bible dozens of times. We spend most of our time in bed, so I will from now on, only use 100% linen or 100% cotton on my bed. These sheets are great quality and comfy. I'm super excited about them.

I only gave the sheets 4 stars because they are not wrinkle-free, although wrinkle-free linen is not what you want in a good linen sheet anyway. Wrinkle-free means the linen has been processed in a way that removes some of the innate good qualities of the fiber. The softness factor will come about in time with washing and drying. That's how linen is. But for now, that also gets 4 stars. (I am a professional in the subject of textiles and know linen exceptionally well.) After washing and drying them only once, the stitching has held up well, and they have not shrunk very much.

I just tried out my new sheets. I was able to use them right out of the package, because they felt soft and smooth, not stiff at all. As soon as I got into bed, I knew these were gonna be life changing. I have never slept with linen sheets before, although I have felt them when making beds on a cleaning job. There is so much coolness just coming into contact with them on my legs and feet. That is the part of me that generally gets hot and miserable and causes me to kick sheets on and off all night. I have been using 100% cotton sheets, which were very smooth and comfortable, but iinen is on a whole other level of comfortable.

These washed nicely before i put them on the bed. 1st night sleep, I found them to be extremely comfortable, not scratchy, as some have indicated. It was warm last night and I stayed cool. I prefer 100% cotton and have had percale for years, but linen is my new favorite.
