They are the right size for my window--I thought they'd be long, but they are fine. They block enough light for me to sleep in on Sundays & they are affordable & nice looking. I LOVE these curtains! I've lived in my current apartment for 3 years and am heading into my 4th winter here; it's an older building with high ceilings and drafty windows. I love my home, but it gets pretty chilly in the winter. So, I decided to finally bite the bullet and get curtains for my kitchen, which is retro 70's themed (olive green, mustard gold, etc.), to help block out the cold and keep it a little bit warmer. I wanted to go with a deep orange shade for the curtains and saved about 10 different options here on Amazon. These (I bought the Rust Red option) seemed like the closest color to what I was hoping for, so I went ahead and ordered 3 sets. I was fully expecting to have to return and reorder a few times to get the right color, but nope! These were PERFECT! Beautiful material, nicely made, and the most gorgeous shade of deep orange. The price was great, too; I needed 3 sets of 108" panels for my windows, but each pair was only $40, which is a steal for curtains this long! These are really nice curtains. The color was beautiful and just what I expected. The material is heavy and high quality. There is a sheen, but very subtle and the material is mostly matte. It makes it look really high end and elegant compared to some velvet that has high sheen to it. It blocks the light really well too, I would say they are blackout. ... show more

These are quite good. They aren’t lined, but they are medium heavy weight. They look good, except the ‘end’ tends to turn outward. I am considering adding some type of weight in the hem, to keep them hanging straight. These velvet curtains completely transformed my bedroom! The 75% light blocking is perfect—dark enough for quality sleep but not pitch black.
