The drapes are very elegant looking. The velvet is soft. Be aware that these are not lined. The fabric is the velvet only so they aren't super thick. But they hang beautifully. I got these to cover a large window and to keep the cold out. They do just that. They were a little wrinkled but after I hung them the wrinkles came out on their own. They are a good value as you get two panels. Some curtains come individually and you have to order two. I love the sage green color. It's hard to tell in the pic, but it's a soft, beautiful shade. I should’ve read a little closer- that’s on me. But these are not blackout curtains. They filter out SOME light (I’d say maybe 30%). I needed a bit more for my toddler but I can use these in my own bedroom. Overall, they’re nice curtains. I’ll need to steam them to get the wrinkles out. Also to note: one side has a dark gray material color so if you want them to be the same color on both sides (if they will be seen from the outside and you care) these are not it. ... show more
