Our couch came with a clamp that did not work at all, so we tried non-skid pads & this large rubber band option but neither of them worked either. I’m so happy that these clamps worked! It felt scary to just screw straight into the couch, but no one will ever see them so I just went for it. They can be a little tricky to line up, but I just used the width of my level to help space the clamps evenly from the bottom & edge of the couch & that worked fine. If you’re not as comfortable winging it, I’d say get a ruler & mark the spots to drill with some tape. If your couch is heavy it can also be tricky to lift one side of the sectional to lock the clamps together, but after some trial and error I managed to do it. I also ended up bending one of the clamps away from the fabric just a little more to make it easier to guide in. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase & would recommend for anyone who’s tired of their sectional sliding apart! ... show more
