Spiker are flimsy and do not stay bolted down. The strap system is terrible and should have been made with Velcro in order for it to be more solid.

the spikes work quite well, if you can manage to keep them on your feet. I have re-laced the straps several times, trying to make them look like the picture. If you run the straps under the bottom, they don't lay flat. Still working on that. But they do make holes in the earth, which is the point of them. Directions on the straps would be most helpful

I'm so glad that I finally got these, and I don't know why I waited so long, because these are great quality lawn aerator shoes and they're very affordable! They're made of thick, durable plastic, and the spikes are super sturdy feeling. The instructions that come with it could be better and more detailed, and I don't really like that I have to assemble it. At first, I was confused about how to put the straps on, but after looking at it for a minute, I figured it out. Assembly is pretty quick, though it doesn't take more than ten minutes, and they get the job done. It is kinda nice that the spikes come out, which makes them easier to store.

These shoes weren’t hard to put together at all. The sturdiness is a 7/10 when put together. It fits my FXR winter boots well. What my issue is, the straps do not work at all. I have tied them down the way it was supposed to be as well as tied them in knots and they INSTANTLY slip off my shoes. Very frustrating. Wouldn’t buy again unless they change the strap design.

For less than $20, to be able to just strap these onto my boots and aerate my grass, is unreal. Is it as easy as taking out an actual aerator? No. BUT it's so much cheaper, you'll get lots of steps in (yay fitness), and IT WORKS. Is it going to take a little longer? Sure! But you can literally mow your grass and aerate at the same time! They're pretty strong too! I am 210lbs and noticed nothing in terms of the spikes bending after I was finished. These are a great buy and will make your lawn look awesome!

The shoes work but not that great. It is like a heavy male wearing high heals. Not because of the difference in height but the flimsy construction of the shoe sole. I would suggest a more robust design, especially if the purchaser expects to use the shoes more than once. We left or set of two shoes onsite.
