How does every review not mention that this duvet is mint green and not blue?!? Other than that it’s really nice: the fabric is a good thickness (reading some of the reviews you’d think it was really thin - it’s not) and the ties on the inside are made of ribbon which was an unexpectedly nice detail. I ordered several Laura Ashley bedding items recently. I remembered the brand as putting out a superior product which was worth the high price tag. However, it seems that was in the past. I should have heeded the many reviews for Laura Ashley bedding which warned that it is of poor quality! The pieces I received were still expensive - but made of very inferior fabrics. I have never seen such thin, scratchy fabric on any piece of home decor. In fact, I've rarely seen such poor quality fabrics sold for any purpose whatever. In addition, the seams are very narrow and likely to shred. The only thing I can say in its favor is that the design is very pretty, although it already appears so faded that there would be little color left after a few washings. Looks wise it’s great. It looks just like the photos and is quite pretty. I really like the stripes on the reverse side. However, as for comfort, this is where it fails. It’s extremely rough & scratchy. Washing it doesn’t not seem to make it any softer. I have 2 down comforters with duvets on my bed, I use this as the top layer so it rarely, if ever, touches my body so I can deal with the roughness, especially since it matches so well with everything else. If this was my only comforter, I probably would have returned it. It really is that rough and scratchy. If you were buying it for looks to use in a guest room or as a top layer you fold down, go ahead, it is beautiful, but if this is going to be your main comforter that touches your body, I would maybe maybe pick something else ... show more

I love this duvet! The sea foam green is an aqua color. It’s very calming and crisp. Love the flowers, very shabby chic. Wish it came with a bed skirt. I bought another one to make a bed skirt and curtains.
