I love Velvet Rose. When I first got it, it smelled heavy of gasoline. But I let it sit and she bloomed into a gorgeous, feminine scent. La Vie Est Belle was my signature fragrance for years but the price is gross, this is a nice alternative.

This is a great perfume to blind buy if you’re looking into these type of perfumes and not sure. The scent is soft, feminine and I get a touch of sweetness at dry down. Great everyday perfume. A more mature scent. Bottle is beautiful and worth the money for sure.

I really like this on the initial spray, been wearing it for a few hours now and it is still projecting and I only did 2 sprays. Immediately upon smelling it I was like omg this remind me of something , I had to think but I realized it smelled verrrry similar to a kissing from a rose that I have from Gucci only that perfume is like $400 this one is $20 I’m still in shock. It’s not exactly alike but wow super close. It’s this sexy warm rose scent that’s not too flowery I think it may have some oud as well. I’m picky with fragrances and I don’t want to smell like no granny I really like this!

I have La Vie est Belle and this smells exactly like it. I compared the two and the whole experience is the same on me—the initial, middle, and dry down. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a spicy, sweet, beautiful floral. It’s so lush and decadent. It’s a potent, lingering fragrance that turns heads. The bottle is beautiful and comes in this beautiful presentation (see photos). It feels like a luxury item. If you’re wanting this one make sure you choose “Velvet Rose” in the options. I’ll end with a list of popular fragrances I love to give you an idea if this is one you’d like to try. Mugler Alien, Alien Goddess, V&R Flowerbomb, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid, YSL Mon Paris, Opium, Versace Crystal Noir, Penhaligon’s Halfeti, Chanel Mademoiselle. Hope that helps!

I saw reviews and ppl named some of my regular perfumes so I did blind buy and the regret I am having right now is high.it smells cheap and horrible.cant return so money wasted .will not wear this

This is a pretty dry down fragrance. YET you have ti get passed the STRONG opening notes. I gave it 3 stars as it is very pungent on first spray (I lean toward my fruity and floral fragrance for reference). I also think this is a more feminine leaning scent but it could definitely work for men as well. This definitely has a nice dry down that’s still able to fill a space but has an elegant feel to it. It last and last for sure. The price for the size and lasting power is great!

First of all, the packaging is gorgeous and is something I absolutely want on my vanity. When I opened the perfume & first smelled it, I immediately thought “old lady” for a minute, but that was before it dried & settled and within seconds, I was like “wait, let me smell that again, that’s lovely”. I’m a fairly low-maintenance woman in my early 30s, so I’m not typically one for the heavy floral fragrances, but this one is complex enough to not be overpowering. For everyday wear, it layers really well to match with a clean powder-y fragrance like Victorias Secret Heavenly, and for date night, I layer it with something sexy like jasmine & sandalwood. It is lovely on its own, absolutely, but I think it’s a fantastic perfume to use to elevate some of those staple scents.
