I liked the fit.

I haven't used it in water yet but I like the fit.

Replaced my side snorkel with this one.
Color: Aqua Blue Size: Large
I just started using a snorkel in the swimming pool in the lap lane. I don't swim like most people. I have arthritis in my knees and shoulders. My knees are really bad and swimming is the easiest exercise for me. I can't do a crawl like most of the swimmers around me because it causes pain in my shoulder. I was swimming with my head underwater and kind of doing a forward stroke while kicking. This presented problems for me too, I'm old and easily out of breath, so I could only go a couple of yards before I have to surface. I saw people using snorkels and thought to myself, "that is what I need to do." My first snorkel set was one that was a dry snorkel on the side of the mask. It had a bendy part between the mouthpiece and the mask and after using it successfully for a couple of months, somehow got a hole in the bendy part. I saw this front snorkel set and decided to try it. I've been using it for over a week now, and it took some getting used to. First of all, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody who is claustrophobic, I am a bit, this is why I give this warning. It gave me a bit of a panicky feeling because I had to breathe out my nose instead of my mouth. I am a consummate mouth breather and it took some getting used to breathing through my nose. I toughed it out though and am enjoying it. The snorkel being in front of the face presents a little problem, but that is something I quickly adjusted to, tried not to cross my eyes. I didn't see as good as out of my previous mask which had a clear visor fully across the face., but using this kind of snorkel, you will have to get used to that bit of obstruction. I like that the snorkel itself is all hard plastic and no bendy parts. It is going to be hard to get a hole in this one. The only other problem I came across is getting the mask set perfectly on my face with complete suction. It still takes me a couple of times of testing the seal before I can actually take off. I have had no problem with loosing the seal like I did with my previous mask, it would loose it's seal after about 20 minutes of use. This mask has not lost it's seal once it is set on my face properly, until I take it off. I think I will like this one for swimming in the pool much better than the side snorkel set and I am getting used to breathing through my nose. ... show more

Easy breathing mask!
Color: Aqua Blue Size: Large
I'm a scuba diver, but I don't like using my regular snorkel and mask for snorkeling...they're bulky and really aren't meant for that. I've tried the full face masks that have become popular over the past few years and hate those...they just don't give me a good experience...they leak and it's a very unnatural feeling to use them. I thought this mask might be a nice compromise, and I was right. The quality of the silicone skirt and glass lens are very good. The turquoise color is bright and pretty. I ordered the large and it is definitely large. For my face size and shape I probably should have ordered a small, but this will fit my sister very well as she has a wider face. I didn't mark down for that, though, because I ordered large and it is exactly that. Breathing through the tube on this is different from most snorkels, because with most you breathe through your mouth. Once you get used to it, though, it's a much more natural way to breathe, as most of us don't breathe through our mouths as much. The snorkel never once had water in it and it breathed very easy. Overall, this is a really nice product. I'd now like to get one in the small and test it out as well! ... show more

Will use this in Cancun looking for turtles!
Color: Aqua Blue Size: Small
We are casual, vacation snorkelers. We don't know how to scuba dive and if we can see colorful fish or a turtle on vacation without vomiting sea water then we are thrilled! I am really excited about this design - it's all-in-one which means you don't have to keep track of two pieces. It breaks down and fits nicely into luggage. Personally, I'm excited about the nose breathing...I've been doing that my WHOLE LIFE so I'm pretty much an expert and it just seems more natural than biting on a mouthpiece to breathe. I've tried this on in my house (my kids fell over laughing) and the small seems like a good fit (I'm petite). If this doesn't live up to my high expectations (or if there are no close encounters with sea life) I'll post an update. ... show more

Not for experienced snorkelers or divers
Color: Aqua Blue Size: Small
After several decades of using a regular snorkel and mask, where you breathe through your mouth, this set-up seems awkward. While snorkeling with it, you have to breathe through your nose which feels unusual. Certified divers routinely carry a regular snorkel for breathing at the surface. In this set-up the snorkel must be detached for scuba diving and replaced with a plug. Doing the switch for a diver at the surface would be difficult at best, and you would have to carry a separate snorkel. On the positive side, the mask is comfortable, it doesn't fog quickly and the ball valve at the top of the snorkel keeps out most water, but if water does get in you will breathe it into your nose. There is a detachable clip for attaching a Go-pro camera, but I haven't tried it. This might be good for kids in a pool, but I wouldn't recommend it for open water. ... show more

Comfortable and easy for casual snorkeling use
Color: Aqua Blue Size: Large
I'm totally onboard (get it?) with some of the professional scuba diver reviews saying this isn't "compatible" with their sport – personally, I never expected it to be at this price point. It is way better than a mask/snorkel you get last-minute at the beachfront shops or summer section of a convenience store which fog up and leak and don't last even one trip. I really like the over-the-head tube configuration. As not-a-professional-diver, breathing through my nose feels a lot more natural, and it reduces the mask fogging up. It also feels easier to keep the air end of the snorkel above water level. Regarding fit, I'm an average/tall adult male and the "Large" fit perfectly. I'm looking forward to using it in Crystal River FL to see the manatees later this month ... show more
