They are not tight around the belly (apron belly), sit comfortably at the waist, don't ride up or pull around my behind. The length is perfect for mid healed to low healed shoes. The pockets are a dream come true with room enough to be useful and the material is strong enough that full pockets don't drag the pants down or make them seem lopsided. Comfortable, breathable, well made, and wash/dry easily. Good length, BUT when the description says "wide", it means it. I feel like I am wearing a really well-designed king-sized sheet. You could probably order a size smaller than normal, as the elastic waist is generous.

Cute and comfy and on trend
So cute and can be worn casually w a tee or dressed up with a summer blouse for a dressier look. Pair w sandals and you’ve got an easy comfortable look. Doesn’t fall down and hidden inner tie is a nice feature that departs from the usual string that hangs down from the outside.

I am very happy with my purchase of these pants. Not only do they fit my body size, but I could have ordered one size smaller and still probably have room across my waist when sitting down or bending over which is important to me as a larger woman. The crotch area doesn't pull up into me, and the pockets are deep enough to swallow my whole hand and then some. I ordered three different colors, and the sizes, length and body size were consistence.
