Pretty easy plug & play process & the car looks so much better as well as so much brighter when reversing at night. No dash errors or flickering whatsoever due to built in canbus ready tech. I didn’t realize how bad the factory reverse lights were until I installed these. The stock bulbs on my GMC Sierra looked like two tired candles trying their best. 😂 These LASFIT 921 LEDs turned backing up at night from a guessing game into actually being able to see what’s behind me. Installation was super easy — basically unplug the old bulbs, plug these in, and you’re done. The 6000K white light looks much cleaner and gives the truck a more modern appearance. They’re bright enough to light up the driveway, trailer hitch, and everything else I was trying not to run into. The fit is excellent for compatible GMC Sierra models, and LASFIT offers these as a direct replacement-style 921/T15 bulb with CANBUS support options. Other GMC Sierra owners commonly recommend LASFIT as an easy upgrade for dim factory reverse lighting.

I installed these LEDs in my 2025 Subaru Outback Touring XT on 12/10/25. They fit into the reverse light housing with plenty of clearance despite being 3/16” to 1/4” longer than the stock bulbs (I was worried about fit because I knew these were longer than the stock bulbs when I placed the order). Installation was about a five minute project; the only difficulty was the wires to the socket have very little extra play and the longer LEDs need more room to fit into the housing once they are plugged into the sockets. After installing the LEDs and writing this review, I saw a post suggesting that you remove the socket wires on a Subaru from a clip on the housing so you have additional play in the wires to help with the installation. The LEDs seem to fit tightly into the socket so I don’t think there will be a problem with the LEDs falling out of the socket. The light output is substantially brighter and whiter than the stock halogen bulbs. I also like the looks of these LEDs in the housing; there are no rear facing/projecting LED’s, just an aluminum cap on the housing, so these LEDs blend seamlessly into the backup light and don’t detract from the looks of the lights. I don’t think this Subaru model has a “backup light out” warning but nothing lit up on the dash or chimed a warning after the installation of the LEDs so I don’t know if the CANBUS feature of these LEDs makes a difference. I learned something that you need to be careful about. To check polarity of the LEDs, I had my key fob in the car seat and I turned the ignition to on/run without starting the car. I then depressed the brake and put the transmission into reverse to check the lights. When I finished checking, I put the transmission into park, turned off the car and shut the door with the keys still on the passenger seat; the car locked with the key in the car!! Also, it wouldn’t unlock by pulling on the door handle. I had to use the other key fob to unlock the car. After looking at the settings that could have caused this to happen, it turns out that the car was set to lock/unlock when shifting into/out of Park; this caused the doors to lock and stay locked when I closed the door. I suggest you keep your fob in your pocket if you choose to test the LEDs the way I did. I can’t opine on the longevity of the LEDs since they have been in the car for 2 days. I will try to remember to update this review in six months or so. This is the first time I have used a Lasfit product so I am anxious to see how long these LEDs last. I have used GTS Lighting Carbide Series 2 LEDs in my 2018 Dodge Durango and those have lasted for 18 months without any issues. The Lasfits and the Carbide Series 2 look like twins so I am hopeful that the Lasfits are of similar quality.

Bought these lights to upgrade my reverse lights on my truck. They are very bright. I can actually see when I back up now. One of the bulbs quit working about 7 months after I installed them. I contacted Lasfit and they sent me a replacement pair! Seems like they stand behind their products.

BEST lighting upgrade you can do for your truck! I have a 2025 Silverado ZR2 that had horrible halogen reverse lights. I park in the my garage, backing up into a tight space, and at night I could barely see where I was going in the backup camera. I installed these LED reverse lights, and they're almost as bright as my headlights! Definitely a LOT safer being able to see where you're going, and when I unlock the truck, the lights come on as part of the 'perimeter lighting' and light up the neighborhood. Installation was an absolute breeze - two torx screws to remove, pull the tail light straight out carefully, twist to unlock and pull the wire/existing bulb out and it's easy access from there. Literally took me less than 10 minutes to replace both bulbs. Cannot recommend these bulbs enough! Definitely a functional item that should have been on the truck in the first place. Highly recommended!
