This purse is a generic take on a Hermes bag. It’s OBVIOUSLY not going to look that good. It does have good stitching and thick metal hardware. However the material literally looks, feels and even smells like a basketball. From a distance it looks just fine and seems like it could take a lot of abuse. So it’s decent for the price point. But although it advertises being made of real leather it doesn’t seem as if it is. I purchased two bags in different colors (orange and beigh picture included) from this company, and I’m very disappointed. While the bag looks okay in pictures, the quality does not live up to the appearance. It has a VERY strong chemical smell, which makes it unpleasant to use. It’s definitely NOT genuine leather. It’s actually a type of processed or bonded leather/plastic , where scraps and shavings of leather and plastic are glued together to mimic real leather. The quality feels artificial and very cheap. The hardware, specifically the middle buckle, is poorly made—it does NOT twist or function. Additionally, the bag is very narrow, making it impractical to fit anything more than a few essentials. The interior is lined with plastic, which feels low-quality and further cheapens the overall design. For the price of $154.93, this bag is simply not worth it. To make matters worse, the product is shipped from China, and if you want to return it, you have to cover the shipping costs yourself, which is frustrating and adds to the overall disappointment.
