With this being on an extendable pole with a threaded and removeable net portion I did not expect it to be this heavy duty and sturdy. The expected weak points at the threaded end and extensions are non-existent. This thing IS HEAVY DUTY and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Easy to assemble and extend and easy to disassemble and put back in the case. Very convenient design, especially if you don't have room for a 9-10 foot long fishing net. I fish mostly inland lakes for bass, which this is more than up to the task for, but I would expect this to easily accommodate larger saltwater game.

This net has quickly become one of my favorite gear upgrades. The telescoping handle is a great feature — it slides down to become super compact, making it easy to store and transport in the vehicle. It also comes with a carrying case, which is a nice added bonus. What really sets this net apart is the silicone-coated netting. Unlike traditional nets, it doesn’t tangle — which is a game-changer. I’ve had plenty of nets get ruined from tangles, but this one avoids that completely. Plus, the smaller mesh holes mean even tiny fish won’t slip through, making it perfect for things like smelting (which I’m excited to try next). This is a very large net with a long telescoping handle. The finish is excellent and it has a bright polished metal luster to it. The netting is very deep and smooth with a high quality rubberized coating to keep it tangle free. It is very light for its size making it very easy to use. My only bit of criticism is that the aluminum pipe in which the handle is made from is quite thin walled and the weight of the net alone causes a fair amount of flex when extended. Although it is large enough to hold a very big fish, I would be concerned about the total weight it could safely bear when fully extended. As long as you are not fishing for heavyweight monsters, this is a great net that will save you a good amount of cash compared to a lot of other nets of this size.

This net is huge. And the reach on it is crazy long. The surprising part to me is how sturdy the pole feels. I expected it to bend and flex and feel weak at full length but it’s still surprisingly sturdy. It’s also surprisingly light for how thick the poles are. Durability will take a bit more use to determine. I’m not overly fond of how they stitched the netting together and onto the fabric attached to the rim - but we’ll see how it lasts throughout the year and will report back with any issues.

What a great functional net for the boat. It has a large opening which will be great for fresh and salt water fishing and could easily handle a striper. The net is rubberized which I prefer because the hooks can't get buried in it and the holes are small enough to use as a dip net for bait fishing. The pole extends obscenely far too but can also be used when it's collapsed and will be more storage friendly.
