Install was simple but took a while, you peel off and add adhesive tabs to all four corners of every single piece before pressing it on the wall. Take your time to make the first piece level and everything else will fall into place! The tiles have stayed up on a textured painted wall with no problem, and the material is thick enough to hold tacks well. My wife loves how it looks in her office room, much more decorative than just a cork board. The texture and angles of the tiles look very good. I had this space by my classroom whiteboard that was not truly a board space. I need this space for school extensions and memos that are important. These tiles helped make the space usable. The only point of concern right now is the adhesive tabs. I put them on and then tried to use the tiny paper to be able to use the tabs, but it took a lot of digging with my finger nails to get that paper off. Set up was still very efficient though and it only took about 4 minutes per tile after putting on the four tabs per board, then removing the paper to press the tile to the wall. I did wait over 48 hours before putting items on the board to make sure they were on the wall.

I was hoping I could use these as a design board but fabric will not stick to them on it's own. You'd have to use pins to to keep the fabric in place. Using pins kind of defeats the easibility of moving quilt pieces around but it would work.

I have these added to another group of sound management panels in our home office. These panels are easy to mount and, if needed, can be moved quickly without adhesive residue. I have these mounted with other similar panels; the plain faced deep black works well with others to form pleasing patterns. These cork board alternatives are thin fiber panels. Essentially, they are identical to purpose-sold acoustic panels. Similarly, these will not sound proof an area, but they do a respectable job at limiting noise that reverberates in a room or passes thru from the other side of a wall. I like how these panels work for me and have no problem recommending them for noise management.

My kid was super excited about installing this felt board to the wall over his desk in his new dorm room. The kit comes with 12 tiles that can be arranged however you like, plus enough double-sided sticky pads to add four to each tile. They stick securely and look really nice. The beveled edges of the tiles make them look modern and sleek, and they are plenty thick enough for push pins (the kit includes a box of bright colored pins). Very cool and easy addition to his dorm room that makes it easy for him to post photos, notes, reminders, etc. Love it.

I am in love with the felt bulletin board look. It really elevates the spaces where a bulletin board is necessary. The panels are think and sturdy. You will be able to stick things on it using push pins or staples without any problems. The adhesive tabs are strong enough to hold the tiles and they stay in place if there isn't much manipulation. I so love these--they are the equivalent of peel and stick---I bought them for a rec room in the basement where my boys like to hang posters and pictures but want to be able to change them out easily.
