The look is great, and they were very easy to put up. Felt is stretched nice and tight, and they hold a pin very well. I do wish they were a bit thicker though, as at this thickness I have some concerns about pushing on a pin too hard and it marking the wall behind the boards.

These wall tiles are very easy to install without drilling or damaging the mounting surface. I like the black color, as it appears more professional than basic cork board. The 12 tiles allow you to make multiple boards and/or arrange them in any desired configuration. I had a small cork board in the mudroom that was overflowing with pictures, coupons, post-its, etc. I had planned to buy a larger board to replace it when I saw this option. These tiles are so much more flexible than a fixed-size board. The panels are somewhat thinner than I was expecting, and if you use pins that are too long you can nick the wall. I had some shorter tacks that worked fine with these panels. These wall tiles are a great alternative to a standard cork board.

We got these to replace a board we had in our back entry, and we've had them up for a couple of months now and are happy with them. They take a pushpin nicely and so far have stuck to the wall very well using the included adhesive squares. It's nice that you can use as many or as few squares as you need to fit your space, and you aren't limited to a single shape. Overall we really like this and are glad we got it.

As a renter (like more and more of us these days), this was a nice alternative to installing standard checkerboard panels with cork. That would have required drilling holes into the walls and whatnot. These, however, don't require any of that since they're self-adhesive. They applied without difficulty and have been steadily pasted there for weeks now. This, despite quite heavy use. I had thought that with pulling out a lot of pins, it would rather quickly deteriorate the adhesive and that has not happened. So, if you want some black wall-safe, renter-friendly, push-button panels, these are your best bet.

I have a spot next to my desk that is covered in post-it notes that have had to have been taped down more than once because the sticky on those little notes doesn't last forever. When I spotted this I had to order it. Now that it's here it's even better than I expected. It has a nice clean look to it and I was able to fit it to this odd space. I doesn't say you can do this or that you should but, I scored the back side of the panel to fit my smaller area. Once I scored the back I pulled the felt to the side and cut the cork then using double sided tape I pulled the felt tightly around the back and stuck it to the inner back side so it has a more finished look about it. It was so easy to install these panels. Choose if you want the bevel edge up or down - both sides have the same felt material on it so the square adhesive peel and stick will adhere to it easily. Just choose where you want the tile and pull the protective paper off one side, stick it to the corner of the tile and then pull the paper off the other side. Put it in place and press down hard in each corner where you put the adhesive square. I didn't try any fancy angles or cuts but I didn't need all that. You can choose how you want them to be mounted. Now that they're up it's great that I can put my notes up with a tack that won't come unstuck like a post-it note does. I'm really happy that it came with the cork in 12"x12" sized tiles, they supplied not only the adhesive squares but the push pins too and easy to follow instructions and surface requirements. I didn't have to buy anything extra to put up and use this cork board.

I ordered these boards for my classroom which has cement walls. The adhesive tabs worked perfectly. I put 4 on each of the boards that I put up. I'm using them to hang little terrariums in my room. The cork boards have held onto the wall for over 2 weeks so I am pleased with the installation. You can hang them side by side making a bulletin board area or just use 1 or 2 where you want them. They have worked just as advertised. I have recommended to all my teacher friends.
