I ordered this vase to add to my home decor. There some things that I like about this vase, and some things I wish were different. For starters, I like the style. It's very versatile so it will be a fit well within any decor style. And I like the size and weight of the vase. The vase measures 14" tall, about 5" inches wide, and has an opening of 3.5" inches. It has some weight to it, it's about 3.13 Lbs, so it's not super lightweight, and not super heavy. My complaints are about the quality. The quality isn't what I expected. The vase gives the impression of being a low quality, inexpensive vase that was spray painted with gooey, thick, black paint, from which the smell is noticable. I'm hoping it will disappate with time. The vase I received has some white paint at the bottom which isn't supposed to be there.. It looks like it's over spray from another project, but it's not too noticable. I wish that there pads on the bottom of the vase. If you're worried about your scratches on your furniture, you'll want to get some pads to go on the bottom. This vase isn't terrible, but I'm not sure I should ecommend it. And I probably won't be ordering from this company again. ... show more

This vase is very pretty in person. It's not too tall nor too short and made of nice terracotta. It has a marble look in brown with faded black swirls. I couldn't decide whether to put it on my mantle or the floor. I ended up placing in the middle of my dining room table as a center piece. It's has a wide brim which made it easy to add my faux flowers and fluff. I'm extremely happy with the versatility the vase offers. It's can add a lovely touch just about anywhere. ... show more

I was very impressed with the style and quality of this black vase. It is absolutely gorgeous in person and will work for almost any home decor style. This vase is large, and its overall shape is top heavy but pleasing. The wall design is roughly textured, but the finish is glossy. Because of the finish, the rough texturing gives a sparkly appearance when lit. The vase comes only in black which is the perfect color for it. Any other color would make the vase look subdued. The texturing is even throughout except for a section near the opening where the texturing sagged (see photo). In addition, the foot has a lot of rough/sharp edges, so be careful putting this vase on your nice unprotected table top. I’m taking one star off because of the flaws listed above. Gorgeous simple vase. The texture really adds something to it and the surrounding area. It feels sturdy yet lightweight at the same time. You could add real flowers to it but I prefer faux ones instead.
